We are so proud, not only of this success which marks the start of our science observations, but also because as of now we are an official radio astronomical observatory in space! #NCLE @RadRadioLab @isis_space @ASTRON_NL
The three 5-metre-long antennae of the Netherlands-China Low-Frequency Explorer aboard the Queqiao relay satellite for the Chang'e-4 mission have been fully extended. These could eventually seek to detect signals from the cosmic Dark Ages.

This is M87* and this the first image of a black hole! Mass is 6.5 Billion suns within size of a solar system. Precious because real. Waited 25 years for this. Dark shadow is where light disappears in #eventhorizon. We see something never seen before. #blackhole #JustWow #EHT

Hello, this is our first tweet! The Africa Millimetre Telescope, or AMT @africa_mm_tel, project aims to place a radio telescope on the Gamsberg Mountain in Namibia. The AMT will be a radio telescope sensitive in the mm-wave regime, hence the name 😉
