🤝 A valuable opportunity to better understand the needs of these territories, also as we prepare the European “Right to Stay” Strategy, aimed at creating new opportunities and ensuring that everyone has the right to remain in their home region.

🇪🇺 Ieri, in Parlamento europeo, confronto con gli eurodeputati delle commissioni BUDG e ECON sull’attuazione del Recovery and Resilience Facility.
📈Abbiamo già erogato quasi 451 miliardi di euro agli Stati membri.Entro il 30 settembre, tutti i 27 Paesi UE hanno presentato le richieste finali di pagamento.
⌛️Ora la priorità è garantire una valutazione tempestiva delle richieste ancora in sospeso, in vista della scadenza di fine anno.
🇬🇧 Yesterday at the European Parliament, I exchanged views with MEPs from the BUDG and ECON Committees on the implementation of the Recovery and Resilience Facility.
📈 We have already disbursed nearly €451 billion to Member States. By 30 September, all 27 EU Member States had submitted their final payment requests.
⌛️ Our priority now is to ensure the timely assessment of outstanding payment requests ahead of the year-end deadline.

🇪🇺🇮🇹 L’intelligenza artificiale può aprire nuove opportunità per tutti i territori, anche quelli più lontani dai grandi centri. Dobbiamo fare in modo che diventi un motore di sviluppo e contribuisca a ridurre i divari.
🗣Ne ho parlato oggi a Bologna, all’evento di Nomisma sull’IA.
🏭Dal rapporto emerge un messaggio chiaro: servono competenze e figure specializzate. Investire nelle persone e nella formazione è una scelta politica decisiva per creare lavoro e rendere le nostre imprese più competitive.
💻Le opportunità sono enormi, ma i rischi vanno governati. Con l’AI Act, l’Europa ha tracciato una strada. Ora serve l’impegno comune di istituzioni, imprese ed esperti: accompagnare l’innovazione e portarne i benefici nei territori.
🇬🇧Artificial intelligence can open up new opportunities for all territories, including those far from major urban centres. We must ensure that it becomes a driver of development and helps reduce disparities.
🗣I discussed this today in Bologna, at Nomisma’s event on AI.
🏭The report sends a clear message: we need skills and specialised professionals. Investing in people and training is a crucial political choice to create jobs and make our businesses more competitive.
💻The opportunities are enormous, but the risks must be managed. With the AI Act, Europe has set a clear direction. Now we need a joint effort by institutions, businesses and experts to support innovation and ensure that its benefits reach all territories.

🇪🇺 Prosegue oggi a Bruxelles il dialogo sulle nostre città e sui progetti di sviluppo e rinnovamento urbano. Ho partecipato:

❇️ alla cerimonia di premiazione del Nuovo Bauhaus europeo 2026.
Al centro, idee e soluzioni concrete per rendere le nostre città più sostenibili, vivibili e vicine alle esigenze dei cittadini.
🇬🇧 The dialogue on our cities and urban development and renewal projects continues today in Brussels. I participated in:

At the heart of these discussions are concrete ideas and solutions to make our cities more sustainable, liveable and responsive to citizens’ needs.
