🚨‼️ Stonebwoy came across a video of Shatta Wale during his show and poured out his heart about people teasing him over his leg he said it can happen to anyone as long as you’re still alive. your man is speaking from pain we can banter but never mock an amputee over their disability🙏💔
If you’re not d€ad you’re not out of the amputeetion —StoneBwoy

Shatta Wale did not introduce @burnaboy to me as a Ghana . I knew Burna Boy way back in 2012/2013 through songs like “Like to Party,” “Tonight” and “Run My Race.” Some of us have been listening to Burna long before that narrative.
Burna Boy you’re a hypocrite! Shatta Wale played a vital role in your journey you came to Ghana with no major funds, no cars, no house, just a deep down underground artist who doesn’t have any way but when Ghana started opening doors for you, you allowed misunderstanding to come between you and our Africa dancehall king your days are numbered!!!

Shatta Wale fans claiming @burnaboy owes his success to Shatta Wale are honestly hilarious. When Burna was releasing songs like Like to Party around 2012 and other hit songs, he was already making waves. He experienced a decline, rebranded, came back stronger, and built himself .

The funniest part is how some people are desperately trying to rewrite history to make it look like @burnaboy would be nothing without Shatta Wale. Let the man shine. You don’t have a case, and the argument is getting irritating. Shatta should help himself if he thinks he’s a him

@burnaboy earned his place through his music and the career he built. Let the man enjoy his moment at the Ballon d’Or without forcing this unnecessary narrative on him. Not every achievement needs to be turned into a competition with Shatta Wale.

Now, because of one song, Hosanna, with Shatta Wale, suddenly everything @burnaboy has achieved must be credited to Shatta? Please, let’s be serious. One collaboration does not erase years of hard work, talent, reinvention, and consistency.

Burna had hits and collaborations with major Ghanaian artists, including Sarkodie and Stonebwoy, long before this argument became a thing. Do you honestly think these artists would have worked with him if he had nothing to offer?

I know how it feels to watch someone you once rolled with doing better than you after you’ve tarnished their image, lied about them, laughed at them, and expected them to remain down forever. Watching them rise beyond your expectations must hurt.

It disgusts me when I see people saying Shatta Wale introduced @burnaboy to Ghana. Nobody introduced Burna Boy to me, Rafia. I’ve known this man since I was 12 years old, through his music, collaborations and features. I was listening to him when he was doing Like to Party and co

He @burnaboy is my greatest African artist, and nobody can rewrite my personal experience with his music to suit a rivalry. Let the man live, make music and enjoy his success. I love Burna Boy. Period.

And please, let’s not act like Hosanna was the song that introduced Burna Boy to Ghana. I knew him long before that conversation even started.

As a Ghanaian and a longtime @burnaboy fan, I can confidently say he is the biggest and one of most talented African artists of this generation. Sometimes, people struggle to acknowledge greatness when it comes with confidence.
16
He @burnaboy went back, worked on himself, refined his craft and came back bigger. That’s what greatness looks like. While some people are still living in past glory, Burna is enjoying his present glory and building his legacy.

If you think @burnaboy needs a Ghanaian artist to introduce him to you, then perhaps you started listening to music recently, or you simply weren’t paying attention. That man has been a genius for years. His talent didn’t start when he became a global superstar.

If you’ve followed @burnaboy journey from the beginning, you would remember the controversies surrounding him too. In 2013, he performed in his underwear at Felabration in Lagos, which sparked serious reactions. Some of us have followed his journey for years !

Shatta Wale and @burnaboy collaborated on “Hosanna” in 2017, and that’s fine. But collaborating with an artist doesn’t mean you introduced that artist to everyone. I knew Burna Boy long before “Hosanna.” Speak for yourself, not everybody.

Stonebwoy also collaborated with Burna Boy on “Sick Inna Head” and later “Take You Home,” featuring AKA as well. Burna had already established his sound before many of these collaborations happened.

The first Ghanaian artist I remember featuring Burna Boy was Sarkodie on “Special Someone” with AKA. That song was out in 2014. So please, let’s not rewrite history just to push a narrative.
