I wish the exp curve was longer actually, I like leveling
The issue is quests where you endlessly have to grind low % drops
It goes completely against y’alls „journey is the game“ bs since you‘re stuck at one place & not actually exploring the world & see those 1000 new quests
Curious about the incentive here.
What is the devs intend for max level players aside long raids that haven't even released yet?
Quests with no rewards but 1-2 lines of dialogue is very unexciting to say the least lol.

Quests at level 60 give no gold and according to Jokerd, this is an intentional change.

All of this is a huge W and then I read some bullshit about procedural generation, goddammit 😭
Top 1 worst gimmick that has infested video games ever

New Pokémon Winds & Waves rumors:
- Megas are not coming back
- Charcadet is getting a new evolution
- Oricorio is getting 2 new forms
- Gyms are supposed to be completed in a fixed order
- Procedural generation is still used in the game

Genuinely no way this is an actual issue with people???
Yeah man sucks the game has good environmental game design with a looming late game zone in the distance leading the players journey

You can see the oasis (not to mention hyjal) from (almost?) anywhere in the Barrens which also massively changes the feel of the horizon.
Classic Azeroth was not built for this. It's cool that it's there for those who want it, but this is not something that should be forced on everyone.
This is as low as view distance can be set without looking hideous due to LODing and lack of fog.
Pls Blizzard just add an optional distance fog setting.

ALT An illustration for the upcoming Final Fantasy 14 and Final Fantasy 7 Remake Series Crossover. In the foreground, a character appearing to be the Warrior of Light is dressed in reaper gear and wielding a giant scythe. A bust of Sephiroth looms above the Shinra Building in the background, and Cloud is shown posed for battle near the bottom of the image.

I don't like how every GTA antagonist is just some guy. I think the villain of GTA VI should be like a dragon or something awesome like that
what is so technically ambitious about the game?
It has puddle deep mechanics that don‘t click together to form a coherent gameplay experience, no RPG elements or NPC/environment interactions to to provide a level of immersion unique to the game.
What technical ambition?
I dunno anymore, man.
Just say you overvalue conventional game design and leave it at that.
Crimson Desert is one of the most technically ambitious games we’ve seen in the last decade, but because it isn’t another linear narrative RPG with the illusion of freedom, it just keeps getting underrated.
The technical wizardry that goes into making a game this mechanically massive is insane. You don’t have to like every part of it, but surely the sheer ambition deserves some recognition?
I get it though…award season is coming up and I can already hear the excuses for why Crimson Desert won't get the recognition it deserves.
It’s frustrating…😔
We spend so much time talking about wanting developers to innovate and take risks, but then we turn around and reward the same safe, conventional AAA games over and over and over and over.
Crimson Desert isn’t perfect, but I’d much rather see developers attempt something genuinely ambitious and occasionally fall short than just keep making the same games we’ve been playing for the last 15 years. I don’t think that’s a hot take at all…
