❤️🤍 @JPickford1 ACTUALLY understood the assignment!
#SAFC
Huge opportunity to go through.
#SAFC
Love Big Kev me.
Don’t care if I’m the only one who rates him.
#SAFC
Fucking buzzing with that like.
Throughly deserved against an almost full strength team.
Good to see a lot of players stake a claim for more minutes as well.
Big opportunity now with the teams that have gone out this round.
#SAFC
Who would have thought playing more attackers would lead to more goals?
Also Alan Browne has been the best player on the pitch.
#SAFC
Very strong team from Brentford going to be a tough game.
#SAFC
My team for tonight.
I would also give Ta Bi and Meunier (if fit) minutes off the bench.
#SAFC
Fuck all this I don’t care about this game.
Winning breeds confidence in the squad no matter the team selected.
Quarter finals on the line- HWTL
#SAFC
Torreense without Xhaka: Losing 1-0
Xhaka comes on: Win 2-1
Lech Poznan with Xhaka: Winning 1-0
Without Xhaka: Ended up drawing 1-1
There's no surprise when Xhaka isn't on the pitch we lose all control of a game.
The fact people can't see that is beyond me.
#SAFC
Xhakas gotta go in January. Or at least use Ahoka. Hes lazy and gives up too easy. #SAFC
Found that Talbi sub absolutely baffling.
The one time we don’t need to make any changes out wide is the 1 time he brings Talbi on.
Thought Angulo was exceptional he deserved the full 90.
We also looked far more susceptible down our left when Angulo went off.
#SAFC
Can’t complain with that performance did pretty much everything we could just without (again) that final ball or finish.
Biggest positive for me was just how solid we look defensively. More minutes in the legs for our backups Wednesday and then on to Coventry Saturday.
#SAFC
Not a dreadful half think we’ve only just about edged it.
Angulo looks like a massive threat and has been superb.
Still massively in this, think Methalie could really help us later on in the game.
#SAFC
Nothing to split @SunderlandAFC and @LUFC so far...
James Trafford denied Brian Brobbey in the biggest chance so far 🧤
I’m sorry like but I must be going mental because I don’t even think the weather is that bad.
It’s slightly windy, we’ve played in far worse.
#SAFC
ℹ️ Despite the ongoing storm and adverse weather conditions, the Premier League fixture between Sunderland AFC and Leeds United at the Stadium of Light this afternoon is currently scheduled to go ahead as planned.
Supporters are encouraged to allow extra time for their journey, arrive early where possible, and take extra care when travelling to the stadium.
Supporters are advised to keep an eye on official Club channels for any further updates ahead of the fixture.
Subs absolutely killed us.
1-1 with 10 minutes left and he’s bring on a left back for our goalscoring striker.
We’ve played better teams in League One than them and we’ve still dropped points.
#SAFC
Other than Danso being slightly mistake prone we’ve been excellent.
So much faster so much more direct.
Their left back looks absolutely terrified of Angulo, he’s been superb.
Ahoka again looks like an absolute bargain he’s properly playing his way into the PL XI.
#SAFC
It's a weird one because I 100% believe that the lads are trying this isn't a bunch of mercenaries like the last PL relegation squad we had.
When the entire squad is struggling with the basics it has to be a tactical issue.
#SAFC
We looked clueless against a team struggling in the 2nd division of Portugal... 'sublime'.
#SAFC
🔴⚪️ REPORT: Sublime in Europe, shambolic in the Premier League. #SAFC are experiencing two seasons rolled into one. But the alarm bells are starting to ring after today's self-inflicted disaster...
