I am deeply disturbed by this planned attack at a place of worship. My thoughts are with the South Asian community and all those affected by what could have been a horrific act of violence.
We must resist white supremacy in all of its forms and combat hate whenever we see it.
Absolutely horrifying. My heart is with the Hindu community in the wake of this news, and I'm grateful to the heroes at the Mount Prospect and Palatine Police Departments who helped prevent an unthinkable tragedy.
White supremacy and hate have no place in our nation.
