Good morning from the Mountains of Appalachia. Today is Thursday, November 5th. The current temperature is 60°F with rain. The expected high temperature is 73°F and partly cloudy. Gold is up. Silver is up. Platinum is up. Bitcoin is Down. Crude Futures are up. *Beef is down.* Hog futures are down. Soybeans are up. *October 26th the Border Entry Port Columbus, New Mexico reopened to Mexican cattle imports. An influx of 150K head of cattle is expected by the end of January.* In town. Schools are operating their normal schedules today. Tommorows livestock auction at the Stockyards will begin at 6 PM promptly. All consignments must be registered and weighted in today by 5 PM. Seventeen eggs in the basket this morning. No fire in the wood stove. Tonight's pinochle game is canceled due to lack of players. Coffee is ready. Grab yourselves a cup and take a sit. Same middle-east conflict. Same governments banging heads. Same Straits of Strife. Crude oil prices drop $10 a barrel overnight. Go figure. No collusion there. The difference!? Elections over.

The other day I spent a bit of time reading the DSA platform so to speak. One of their objectives is to abolish the U.S. senate and have all laws originate solely from the House of Representatives. Of course they do. It just happens to fit into their plan of open borders and unrestricted voter laws. Flood the liberal states with massive population growth with full taxpayer funded benefits. That gives those states more house representatives and eventually a lock on all Federal elections and legislative laws being introduced. Must reading for all conservatives. They are literally telling everyone exactly what they are doing and how they are doing it, in today's terms. Peace out.

Me up to my neck in liberal b.s.

Many seem worried about a Democratic majority stacking the Supreme Court. First it requires legislation to increase the court size by simple majorities in the house and senate. A filibuster could easily end that avenue as it requires 60 votes to over ride a filibuster which the democrats don't presently have. If perchance they were to pass legislation to increase the court size the president has to sign the legislation into law. Again not happening. Trump would veto it when it when it hits his desk. Next they could attempt a veto over ride which requires 67 senators on board. That will not happen either. Finally if they could overcome all those impossible hurdles. It is the President who nominates all Supreme Court appointees. He would simply nominate conservative appointees forcing the democrats to have to find a way in Senate hearing to disqualify each appointee in public hearings. Long story short. Democrats are giving lip service to stacking the court knowing full well they are powerless in this situation. Ignore the rhetoric. Peace out.

I found a great buy on a $32K three bedroom ranch on the beach in Fort Lauderdale. Oh, and about that free Healthcare coverage!? I want all new crowns and retina implants.

Looks like the political newbies are upset. Every cycle the Republicans sieze control, they fritter away until they get removed from control again. Every mid-terms conservative don't show up to vote. Rinse and repeat. I have observed this for so many decades I myself am tired of them. Peace out.
