I know that is their excuse.
But we've told staff at @rbhousing many times (including the Chief Executive Amanda Newton in person) that we need a way of contacting them in an emergency other than by phone due to our disabilities.
Not providing this is disability discrimination.

I first tweeted about our leaking window in March 2019.
@rbhousing told us that they monitor all our tweets, so have known about this problem for years.
Today the rain came through our closed window, again. See #photo.
This is the 3rd winter since @rbhousing cancelled the work to replace our windows and doors.
RBH said they still have the money allocated to provide this work to our flats.

We escalated this and other disrepair problems to the Rochdale Boroughwide Housing (@rbhousing) Chief Executive Amanda Newton.
She didn't reply to us personally, but had another employee tell us RBH would do an inspection even though we had inspections in Dec 2023 and Mar 2024.

It is costing us a lot of money to wash and dry the towels we use to staunch the flow of water.
Sometimes it wakes me up because it leaks onto my head during the night.

My bedroom window is leaking again. My kitchen window and lounge window have failed units = no insulation.
@rbhousing have inspected my windows twice and they know that my home is freezing cold and unsafe, but still they will not repair or replace my windows.
