When Nothing Is True Everything is Permitted. We work in the shadows to serve the light. We fray not from the bind, but the frayed weave we must leave. Death is our salvation, life is our cause. For freedom sacrifice must be made There is no free will, without sacrifice.

You with five senses. Us with six. The one we kept from you. To be safe. Now, you can never know. Only try. Grasp. You can SEE. SMELL. TASTE. TOUCH. HEAR. Knowledge has been locked away. After, when the world became undone, we tried to pass it through the blood. Tried to join you with us. You see the blue shimmer. You hear the words. But you do not know. WE SHOULD HAVE LEFT YOU AS YOU WERE. Despite how cryptic the language was Juno was using it gave you a sense of mystery, of intrigue because you wanted to know more, and as time went along. You'd be curious and intrigued to decode and understand her words - and you'd learn exactly what the Isu did - which opened a whole new chapter of mysterious clues to follow. #assassinscreed @assassinscreed

The Secrets Of Assassins Creed: Ezio was not the first one to discover the colosseum vault. Marcus Junius Brutus originally had access to the Isu vault below the colosseum. When Ezio originally stumbled upon Brutus's Armour, he might have also discovered the password to the Isu vault below. Ezio left behind this passwords clue, hoping Desmond, would most likely find it in the future. #assassinscreed

#assassinscreed No, we DON'T want any more Mercenary non Assassins or Templars characters. If you're gonna use Mercenaries @Ubisoft @assassinscreed Stick it in a game like Anno, because it doesn't belong as a main character. #assassinscreed

Assassins Creed wasn't just defined by Sci-fi, it was defined by connecting the past and the future, and in reverse, the future and the past. It left us with a sense of intrigue, a sense of mystery, giving us clues, hints, mystery for us to figure it out, it did not hold our hand every way, but let us work it out. Our minds were the key, and the puzzles were there for us to solve. It left us wondering like Desmond "What. The. Fuck" because we were still understanding it and it left us wanting more. It left us wanting to interpret the message. It left us with a sense of mystery, but also curiosity. That's the beauty of what Sci-fi was in Assassins Creed. The Isu, the Assassins, the Animus, the artifacts. Everything tied together but left us interpreting what it all meant, and why? It wasn't there to hold our hand, it was there to make us figure out the riddle, the puzzles, the cryptic messages. Our minds were the key, we just had to open them. 72. #assassinscreed @assassinscreed @ubisoft

This franchise quite literally started with modern day, and there's a reason WHY it's so integral to the franchises survival, it STARTED with modern day, and peaked towards the end of the modern day and end of the original saga. There's a large reason why the popularity plummeted after that, because there's nothing, or no reason why your exploring the past as an Assassin or the artifact your finding before the templars do, because the past connects to the future. Without the modern day, the animus narrative is literally dead. It's no longer AC without the reason you explore the past.

I've always genuinely said. You don't need Remakes. You need trilogies to set the story on the right path. If you cannot pay attention to the original mechanics, story, or details, that's where a remake will fail. No amount of new story, characters or vice versa will change the popularity. To uplift the franchise , you need a story that's compelling, relatable, a character who you connect with through multiple games, and to close the chapter with. And the past and future with modern day needs to connect THROUGH the animus.
