Just making a little post for any of my sisters on here that I run into on rivals, I'm gonna be playing with all comms off for the rest of the season, maybe longer because Marvel Rivals has just gotten SO toxic recently especially for the girls/gays and I cant deal with it anymore
Like the stuff they say to me could obviously be way worse but its like GAME after GAME after GAME guys see my name, hear my voice, and then just start ganging up on me and piling the little or big insults and I just dont wanna deal with it anymore because its taking away all the fun that this game used to bring me before all these hateful comments.
I tried being one of those girl bosses who stay strong and argue/yell back but i just cant handle doing all that anymore
a bit of a pointless post but I wanted to make it just incase I ran into one of the girlies and they were wondering why I wasnt responding to them ♥️

Over the past couple of days, we were made aware of comments directed towards our players that have no place in esports. We know that the Brazilian community is full of love and passion, and while the actions of a few do not represent the entire region, we stand firmly with our players against all forms of abuse.
We’re incredibly proud of our Gozen players and everything they’ve given to G2 this year. They deserve nothing but love ♥

I didn’t want to talk about it at first, but I think it’s important to talk about it so it’s all cleared up and hopefully doesn’t happen to anyone again.
After we lost, people were screaming my name, calling me puta telling us don’t cry, mocking us and many more things.
Don’t get me wrong, you can cheer against us all u want, I honestly think its so cool to have such a passionate crowd and playing with it even if it’s against you gives you a boost and its something special most people will never get to experience.
I’ve accepted that some people will forever go on with this narrative that i’m racist, no matter what i do or say.
Literally anyone that has ever talked to me knows that i’m a person that loves learning about different cultures, learning new languages, trying different food from different cultures/countries. And would never ever try to hurt someone on purpose. I was just simply uneducated about this topic, believe it or not.
I just can’t accept that people in the riot arena (and online) are able to ruin the experience for people that have nothing to do with it. Honestly I had such a good time in Sao Paulo, everyone I met there, players, staff or even people that worked at the airport were so nice. You guys screaming these awful things ruin it for the people that are here for a good time.
Never speaking about it again now, see you next year guys 😘

Starting in the lower bracket even if you win through all of open qualifiers and then not mentioning that in any post anywhere 🤣🤣🤣 I knew riot was doing to many good things for it to be true LOL

- ALL open qualifier teams start from the lower bracket.
- no communication of any of this, everything has been built on "OPEN QUALIFIERS EVERYONE CAN QUAL".
- we find out not from Riot themselves but through an invited org tweet?
- no mention of any of this in the rulebook or on social media anywhere before UCAM's tweet, designed to be a haze.
- marketing campaign built on "OPEN" qualifiers, "fairness" & "equality" isn't really correct, is it? but when were you going to tell us this? did you ever plan to tell us this?
oh also haha, NO TECH PAUSES ARE ALLOWED in open qualifiers as the rulebook states this 😭
so not only do invited teams skip open qualifiers, they get to start in the upper bracket with everyone else from open qualifiers having to start in lowers?
the marketing campaign for 2027 was built on open qualifiers & fairness. everyone has to fight for their spot, we find out now only a few days before registration ends that this is not the case but you have partnered teams & invited teams in every region who are given an advantage to everyone else.
not only this but having to start in the lower bracket for EVERY OPEN QUALIFIER TEAM? for invited teams playoffs is double elimination, for open qualifier teams it's single elimination.
well best of luck to everyone in open quals! you're fighting a constant uphill battle. not that you knew it to this degree, of course.
