Congratulations to the next Governor of Florida @ByronDonalds on his win in the Election last night. I met him last year at an event with @bennyjohnson and he’s really great guy with so much ambition and foresight. I genuinely believe he may be the future president of America.

Normally I hate criticising individuals.
You win as a team. You lose as a team.
But it has become patently obvious to everyone that Diogo Dalot simply does not learn. If anything he forgets.
Their opener last night was just a visual representation of his performances.

You pay the deposit up front. Getting it back is your problem.
For older people who rely on the local shop, a return point can be two buses away.
Nobody is against recycling. I am against a scheme that loads the cost and hassle onto the shopper.
There has to be a better way.

Second price hike since July. Blames wholesale energy costs.
Biggest public charging chain in Ireland.
Now more expensive to charge (per km) than petrol for normal, contactless, pay-as-you-go.

It has been a year since Nottingham Forest supporter Stephen Crean stood up to a man with a knife on a train home after watching his side take on Manchester United. While passengers ran through the carriage, he tried to restrain the attacker so others had time to get away. He was left with wounds to his head, back and hands while shielding people he had never met.
Later, Stephen put it plainly: “My motive was to protect people. I was scared, but then [the fear] went away.” Other Forest fans started a fundraiser aiming for £500; within a few days it had gone beyond £30,000. Twelve months later, his bravery deserves to be remembered, as do all those hurt or affected that night. He had simply gone to a football match and ended up putting his life on the line so strangers could get home.
What courage and bravery look like 👍
A true hero. ❤️

I’ll wear a poppy.
I always have.
Whenever possible I have gone to our local Rememberance Day service.
I don’t worry about who it offends for the simple reason those people have never worried about offending me.
