The ugly, dehumanizing leveling of language continues in this new trend: Universally replacing the word "parent" with "caregiver," as if encountering the word "parent" will cause trauma or something.

Want me to math the shit out of you? If climate change was real, no bank would finance a 30 year mortgage within 1000 yards of the ocean. And bankers never lie about money.

The evolution of the radical and unhinged left: 1. There is no financial crisis at the Kennedy Center (but there’s zero money in the bank, huge debt, paying staff with debt reserves, crumbling building, no outside fountains working, ceiling collapsing…) 2. Artists and the public must boycott the Kennedy Center! 3. Why aren’t more people boycotting? 4. Ticket sales are down so there must be a financial crisis. 4. Why are Trump and corporate donors giving millions and saving the Kennedy Center? 6. There’s no need to renovate using Congress appropriations. 7. Do NOT close to renovate. 8. We demand shows return. 9. We demand you stay open (but they still boycott). 10. Don’t you dare tear it down. TDS is anti-Arts. TDS is intolerant.

The more horrible we make it look, the more likely the government will make all the others jump thru hoops we never could possibly...

ANTHROPIC BUILDS BIOLOGY LAB TO PUSH AI INTO DRUG DEVELOPMENT Anthropic has quietly established a Bay Area wet lab, moving its life-sciences ambitions beyond computer simulations and into physical biological experiments. The company wants Claude to direct laboratory robots with limited human intervention, potentially accelerating research into rare and traditionally “undruggable” diseases. Anthropic says it will focus on preclinical research rather than clinical trials, avoiding direct competition with pharmaceutical companies.

“We want you to use MyChart so all your medical information is in one place and we can eliminate unnecessary paperwork.” Also: “Here’s a six-page questionnaire we need you to fill out for every new appointment. Please write your name, address, and date of birth at the top of every page.” Apparently MyChart is where we store the information we’re going to ask you for again on paper.

Your obligation to your children is (far) stronger than your obligation to public schools.

Notice… The same people that locked us down, mandated masks and pushed vaccines to “protect” us from Covid now want to “protect” us from AI. Alarm bells should be going off.

California Democratic Rep. Ted Lieu is calling on Congress to pass a bipartisan “AI Kill Switch Act,” which would require developers of the most powerful AI systems to maintain the ability to slow, suspend or shut them down if they pose a serious threat. “Humans must be in control of AI, not the other way around,” Lieu told CBS News’ Major Garrett.

They’re holding hands around the Kennedy Center like it’s the Alamo. Right now outside they’re singing Solidarity Forever and planning to link arms around the whole building. Over a renovation. Over a name. The ceiling has been dumping plaster for years, and suddenly it’s a revolution because Trump touched it. These people do not care if the place is rotting. They care that he wins. So they show up with choir voices and a human chain like they’re storming the Bastille over a concert hall. This is what passes for serious protest in this town.

Someone gave the leading AI models the Political Compass test. Grok 4.5 landed by far closest to the political center. Every model from Anthropic, Google, Meta, OpenAI, Deepseek, and others clustered far to the left. This is why building a maximally truth-seeking AI matters.
