For 63 days, the bipartisan discharge petition that ultimately led to the release of the Epstein files was a single signature short.
Ashley Hinson could have signed. She had every opportunity to buck her party leadership and sign the petition.
She did not.
Vote @turek4iowa.
I voted to release the Epstein files and have spent years working across the aisle to protect survivors of sexual abuse.
Men like Epstein, who hurt children, they’ll have to answer to God. But men who lie about it to win an election, they’ll have to answer to you.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Rep. Hinson voted for the Epstein Files Transparency Act (H.R. 4405) in Nov. 2025 after a discharge petition passed without her signature. She voted for prior procedural motions blocking standalone votes and did not sign key discharge petitions.

Per my review:
-Trump has pardoned 9 of the last 11 GOP congressmen to be convicted of federal crimes.
-His DOJ has indicted, tried to indict, or taken investigative steps against 13 Democrats currently serving in Congress.

You can't begin to describe how bad-faith this administration is. It deliberately refused to implement the green card lottery program as required by Congress. Can't challenge it until it is final. Now it's final; it's too late. This deliberate malfeasance should be criminal.
Just reading gov TRO response in REL v Rubio - the case challenging Rubio's failure to implement Diversity Visa lottery program for FY-2027. This is rich.
In May in Ivanov, Rubio argued we brought that challenge too soon. (left)
Now in REL, they argue we waited too late. (right)

This man poisoned his coworker for years.
He was trying to kill her, slowly and painfully, and she suffered all kinds of horrific health problems as a result.
He served ONE day in prison.
For attempted murder.
We are not nearly angry enough.

EXCLUSIVE: New revelations...
In mid-2025, just as Kimberly Guilfoyle was scrambling to clear massive American Express credit card bills, she solicited a $250,000 car loan payment from several wealthy Greek businessmen.
They were approached by Guilfoyle to help her pay off her luxury Mercedes G-Wagon.

Mainer’s, think about that before you consider voting for Collins!
Her support of Trump made this happen!
Heating oil in Maine now costs nearly 80% more than a year ago.
The statewide average hit $5.97 a gallon as of Oct. 5, per the Maine Department of Energy Resources, after setting a record above $6 in late September.
A year ago, it was about $3.30.
That’s roughly $675 more to fill a standard 275-gallon tank.
Maine is the most heating-oil-dependent state in the country: about half of households rely on it as their main heat source.

NEW: The Trump admin just cut the time that a refugee has to submit a formal response or an objection to a Notice of Intent to Terminate refugee status from the current period of 30 days to just 10 days.
This new rule, issued without warning, goes into effect tomorrow.

Holy cow! Looks like Trump brought in an ally to shut down a CFTC investigation of possible insider trading!
“Traders placed billions of dollars' worth of contracts predicting oil would tall and the S&P 500 would rise about 15 minutes before President Donald Trump announced his U-turn on striking Iranian power plants.”
An investigation by the CFTC was opened and forensic experts began their work. Shortly after, blank, a Trump insider shut it down:
“What happened next, they said, was highly unusual: Mel Gunewardena, a senior adviser to the agency’s Trump-appointed chairman, Michael Selig, told a supervisor within the market oversight team to retract the referral.”
I gifted this so you can read it.

Trump said he gave each member of the military $1,776 because we had just had a big success in Venezuela, and we're succeeding in Iran.
Here's the problem for America's biggest liar.
The checks for the military were sent in December 2025, BEFORE his war on Venezuela and BEFORE his war in Iran!
