Impractical can be a feature, not a bug
Less can be more
Taking the long way is often more enjoyable
And doing or buying something because it’s just damn cool is 100% worthwhile

Remember putting a check in a tube at the bank which magically transported over to the teller? Peak technology.
@thegarrettscott and @ReevesCanon want that for everything. A new drawer in your kitchen that’ll do the same for the item at the grocery store you forgot.
It's a laundry chute for the whole city. Sideways, underground, and it works in both directions.
Anything you need at the push of a button in minutes.
Is it a pipe dream? Sure. But this is Left Field we’re talking about.

The "Pink's Window effect" will shape the next generation of home service franchises.
Pink's has made window washing cool. People notice the van, buy the hat, and book the service.
I hate every pest control company we've ever used and it makes me want to start one just out of spite.
I have the brand locked and loaded. I know the brand & marketing playbook. It would dominate.
The hurdle: in NC, you can't be licensed unless you've been in the game for 2 years. Very high bar.
Another curious idea in the back pocket for now.
I have a pipe dream in and for Left Field. And apparently this week's company does too. Issue #36 of Left Field is coming in HOT. And you're sure as hell not going to want to miss it.

It’s been quiet over here but our team is hard at work for you, the people.
Our new website comes next week and the designs drop still in mid-November.
There may be some Easter eggs along the way too 🇺🇸🫡

Here's a peek at what you get in Left Field. Issue #35 @navneetdalal @mehul, and their team @maticrobots:
Let’s all get on the same page. Vacuuming is the worst. It just is. I don’t know a single person who likes it. Walk around your house and suck up dirt? I actively avoided it as a chore growing up. Give me the Windex and paper towels. Kitchen duty. Anything but walking room to room trying to find the optimal plug so I don’t have to move the cord from one outlet to the next.
And maybe you hated it so much that you tried a Roomba. Or one of its copycats. It’s fine. Nothing special. You used it a lot at first. You were vacuuming less, so you were okay with it. But you still had to vacuum. Then you forgot about it. Not because vacuuming went away. Because it got stuck under your couch and died two months ago.
And you were probably happy about it. Tired of it doing an okay job and ramming your furniture. But that sent you right back to a chore you don’t like. So is there an alternative? Hire cleaners? Sure. But they’re expensive and only come every once in a while. What else? Surely there’s another option.
You bet your ass there is.
Introducing @maticrobots. A robot cleaner that actually does the job. One that works on demand at the sound of your voice, cleans up everything from spilled milk to dog hair, and most importantly, doesn’t get stuck under the couch.

ISSUE #35 is LIVE.
Inspired by a mess my dog made this week, we're featuring @mehul, @navneetdalal and @maticrobots, who are solving a problem every homeowner and renter knows. Vacuuming.
Quiet, smart, and made for your home. Life is messy. So you need a product that truly sucks.
I wanted to ACTUALLY test @maticrobots before I hopped on the bandwagon and just post about it since I wasn’t paid
And I can tell you now, it’s 100% the best robot vacuum I’ve ever used
I’m actually normally a robot vacuum hater
The trick is to run it a couple times a week.
Once a month you probably need to clean the floors yourself for a good deep clean
But in between Matic is amazing and listens to me!
It’s quiet and actually good at cleaning ha
Chores are a necessary reality.
But with Matic, there's a tradeoff that didn't exist before. Pay for it now, or pay for it every Saturday.
It isn't cheap, but it's hard to put a price on a clean home, your time, and sometimes your sanity.

Sometimes we fly by the seat of our pants in Left Field.
Things just happen that spark inspiration. Issue #35 is personal. Because when your dog makes a mess of the plant, you need a product that truly sucks.
Dropping this Sunday at 7:15am ET.
Despite the mess, the party continues in Left Field.

Farmers & Ranchers are the backbone of this planet. They do the dirty work to provide for everyone else.
@craig_piggott and his team at @halterHQ are giving them time back. GPS collars, virtual fences drawn from a phone, and over a million cows already wearing them.
Issue #34 is LIVE. Moving cattle with an app makes sense in the modern world. Draw the fence, then call the herd like an Uber. Leave it to the Kiwis to come up with an idea like this.
