Working theory on $AAPL vs. Android $GOOG
I think you will find this interesting.
For the record I was an iPhone user for a long time and I am still using a Mac Desktop (2019 Mac Pro). So it's not a fanboy thing here.
Apple's products are simpler and have far less customization options than Android. They all kind of work the same way.
But.
Android often has a feature that I use because I thought:
"I wonder if I can do that." that I couldn't do on the iPhone.
For example: Google Messages works right on any old web browser.
iMessage doesn't.
So my theory is this:
Apple products are for people that don't want to think as much, change how they do things, and prefer life to be simple without too many options.
Apple MARKETING on the other tells you you're cool, a thinker and mover and shaker who's smart.
It seems to me that the marketing, perhaps like many, to be fair... is a direct effort to keep you from realizing the very obvious truth about the actual product.
$10 says $AAPL drops in the next few days.
They've got nothing but high prices and iteration for the foreseeable future.
The foldable has already been priced in. I expect mediocre sales at best. Too expensive.
Oppo has already beaten them on foldable design.
I've got deep in the money covered calls out so don't make much difference to me but if you're banking on a rise, IMHO it will be short term.
@dougboneparth
Most people are making bad choices to fix something broken or making bad choices to break what isn't broken.
Hey I wanna kill a guy! I'll use birdshot in my shotgun!
Even @DaveChappelle knows better than that. 🤣🤣
GMAFB, @therookie !!!
@BaronDestructo
He takes birdshot to a vest and is laid up in bed!?
Major eyeroll here gen Z writers.
@NathanFillion
You could have just made it a short barrel rifle or 9mm or...anything really.

“yeah so it’s a 36mm datejust, wimbledon dial, fluted bezel, jubilee bracelet. 36 is actually the classic size. 41 is kind of what you buy before you know anything about watches. the 36 wears bigger than you’d think because of the fluted bezel. that’s what people don’t understand. you can’t just look at diameter. lug-to-lug, wrist circumference, dial opening. it’s all about proportions. and the wimbledon dial is way harder to get. i mean, i didn’t buy it as an investment, obviously, but they hold value pretty well. it communicates that i have nothing to prove, which is something i work extremely hard to communicate.”
Can't wait until next month when Apple invents the foldable phone.

Car fire in Spring Tx. It was pulled off the road completely so I presume occupants are ok. @KPRC2
$AAPL is dead as far as innovation.
@tim_cook was a mistake. He's an admininstrator/typical CEO.
They are coasting.
I mean in the overall sense.
Other than the M1 chip my opinion is there has been no innovation.
And I also consider them predatory as a company.
Why?
-nothing they make is repairable and it's designed to fail quicker.
--M chips with integrated storage. Esp the early models, that read/write cycle will fail your stroage.
--battery charge level can't be set to 60 or 80% like many phones and laptops
-interoperability with standards. I can tie in my Mac/PC to Google services
-iOS that slows your phone to a crawl at some point and can't be downgraded.
What brought this up? I recently bought a 3 year old Google Pixel Flip to upgrade from my iPhone Mini 13 (yeah I'm that giy) and realized how far behind even FIRST GEN foldables Apple is.
You can buy that phone brand new on @woot for under $500. It's a steal at that price. UNLOCKED.
I still use my Mac Pro (2019) but wonder if my next computer will be a PC.
Ebay collecting sales tax on an item the seller purchases for personal use in Texas falls under occasional resale law if I'm not mistaken?
(5) the sale of tangible personal property by an individual if:(A) the property was originally bought by the individual or a member of the individual's family for the personal use of the individual or the individual's family;(B) the individual does not hold a permit issued under this chapter and is not required to obtain a permit as a "seller" or "retailer" as those terms are defined by Section 151.008;(C) the individual does not employ an auctioneer, broker, or factor, other than an online auction, to sell the property; and(D) the total receipts from sales of the individual's tangible personal property in a calendar year do not exceed $3,000.
@txcomptroller
The seller has been an @eBay member for 12 years and has sold 26 items in that time. I think this law applies.
@GregAbbott_TX
I got charged almost $40 for a cellphone they bought, tried, and resold AT A LOSS.
Now imagine those fees multiplied thousands of times.
This needs to be fixed.
