Ronaldo’s main rival to 1000 goals is not Messi, it’s Emiliano Martinez🤣🤣

John Terry disrespect anywhere will never be tolerated here at all! JT is the best ever CB in the Premier League history.💙🫡 For the blokes saying Virgil Van Dijk is better than John Terry, even VVD himself will never admit such, JT is way better, do you know what it takes to concede only 15 goals in 38 League matches ? Especially in those days when there was no VAR to protect players. Y’all must respect JT. Rival fans! Van Dijk is a great defender too, yeah. But he’s overrated. “VVD wasn’t dribbled past for a year” That was because of these factors, During Jurgen Klöpp’s era, Liverpool plays with Gengenpressing, man to man pressing, all the 11 players presses you. Here by reliving pressure and VVD is always stylishing running away from opposition attackers, pushing Matip to them or Gomez. VVD ass got exposed when Klopp left, no more Gengenpressing to cover his overrated ass up. His performances have been woeful since Klopp’s exit, that means something.

I used to say this several times, a 3 man defense system cannot work in this modern day Premier League era. If Alonso insists on that 3 man at the back, we’d definitely get more catastrophic results. For some Chelsea fans saying Conte won the League for us in 2016/17 playing 3 men at the back. 1, This is 2026, not 2016, Premier League has gotten more technical, such tactics can’t work anymore at all, no manager can succeed with a 3 man defense back up in this EPL age! And let’s not also forget that we had way better defenders then, Kante was at his prime as well to do the dirty jobs by covering up for the defenders. We are extremely vulnerable to counter attacks and set pieces from opposition players everytime, that’s because of the tactics plus our defenders aren’t even fit enough for it. The first goal we conceded yesterday was so abysmal. Nobody marked that guy!

Sol Campbell was a physical, and gifted central defender. He's known for his strength, and pace for a man of his size. He was a pillar of Arsenal's legendary 2003-04 Invincibles Premier League season, achieving an entire league campaign undefeated. He was named in the official FIFA World Cup All-Star Team (2002) and UEFA European Championship Team of the Tournament (2004).

Sol Campbell started his youth career as a forward and even played as a striker in his early academy days before converting fully to defense. In 2009, he made a high-profile move to League Two club Notts County, playing just one official match before terminating his contract by mutual consent. Playing 73 times for England, scored only 1 official senior international goal—a header against Sweden in the 2002 FIFA World Cup group stage (though he famously had a crucial header wrongly disallowed against Portugal in Euro 2004).

Chelsea sit 6th with 7 points from their first 4 matches (2 wins, 1 draw, 2 losse with 10 goals scored, leaky defense that has conceded 9.Chelsea remains in a state of perpetual transitional turbulence under Xabi Alonso. The club is dealing with the psychological hangover of previous managerial instability, defensive lapses, and managing an bloated squad. Chelsea are a team searching for an identity. The raw talent is undeniable, and Alonso's side can blow teams away offensively, but until they need to improve their defense and find consistent structure, they will remain top-four contenders rather than true title threats.
Igor Thiago is coming off a wonderful 2025–26 Premier League season where he netted 22 goals in 38 appearances. He capitalized on Chelsea's poor defense during Brentford's dominant 3-0 victory, scoring Brentford's second goal in the 83rd minute. Igor Thiago used Chelsea's defensive weakness to cement his form. Performances like this showcase his lethal instincts, proving he is still a nightmare to defenses and establishing himself as one of premier league's most clinical finishers.
