Nobody's talking about this: a 59-second TikTok earns $0 from Creator Rewards. Videos must be 1+ minute, original and hit 1,000 qualified For You views. You also need 10K followers and 100K views in 30 days. Are you making longer videos now?

Hot take: the sub split matters more than the platform. @kick : $4.75 of every $5 sub goes to the streamer (95/5). @Twitch Affiliates start at 50/50. Would a 95% split make you switch?

Well… this is heartbreaking. 😢🇺🇸 Never thought we’d see a map looking like this. No matter what side you’re on, it’s clear our country is going through a major shift. Praying for our country and hoping we can find some common ground. 💔

A $1.2 trillion creator economy forecast, per Variety. Meanwhile most creators still can't get a straight answer on why they were demonetized. How much of that $1.2T actually reaches the people making the content?

87% of a paywalled article, copied word for word, per the NYT's lawsuit. If AI can repost your work without a click, the creator gets no view and no payout. Who should get paid when AI reads your content?
The New York Times is suing Brave, accusing the browser of helping users bypass paywalls and letting its AI copy paid articles. The lawsuit claims Brave's AI reproduced around 87% of a paywalled NYT story word for word. It also accuses the company of sharing scraped news content with AI companies like Anthropic, Perplexity and xAI. The Times also points to comments from Brave employees who reportedly called subscription messages a "paywall nag".

Nobody's talking about this: Twitch Affiliate now takes just 25 followers, 4 hours streamed and 4 stream days. It used to be 50, 8 and 7. The one bar Twitch didn't cut: 3 average viewers. Streamers, which one is hardest for you?

Nobody's talking about this: YouTube is testing a $20 payout threshold instead of $100 for some YouTube Partners in the US, India and Indonesia, starting with October payments. Faster cash, same revenue share. Small creators: how many months does it take you to hit $100?

Code on the left, phone preview on the right, and it updates while I type. Honestly the fastest way I've found to see what I'm building. Beta's been fun to mess with.

X pays creators now. Here's the math nobody shows you: Original Content Rewards needs 500K verified impressions in 90 days. That's about 5,500 a day, only from Premium viewers on the Home Timeline. Replies don't count. Creators, how far are you from 500K?

About 30 animation channels lost monetization overnight. Their appeals came back with no example video. Explore With Us got a human review in days. These creators got a form letter. @TeamYouTube who's actually reviewing these?
🚨 YOUTUBE IS DEMONETIZING AN ENTIRE COMMUNITY OF ANIMATORS. AND NOBODY IS TALKING ABOUT IT. This is bigger than one channel. Bigger than one appeal. An alarming number of animation creators are losing their YouTube monetization under the same "Misleading Family Content" policy. My channel, Pivot Master, has been demonetized for almost 3 MONTHS. And I'm far from the only one. Here are just some of the affected creators: Pivot Master - youtube.com/@pivotmaster Ugee - youtube.com/@Ugeeyt EGM - youtube.com/@The_official_EG… FLORZY - youtube.com/@florzystudio ADMYT Animations - youtube.com/@ADMYT123 Kalopi Animators - youtube.com/@KalopiAnimator PPANIMAN - youtube.com/@ppaniman3608 Mega Trex - youtube.com/@megatrex800 Hardy Maximus - youtube.com/@HardyMaximus Raptor Silver - youtube.com/@RaptorSilver PaleoPixels - youtube.com/@paleopixelsYt Primitive Domain - youtube.com/@PrimitiveDomain Tyrex - youtube.com/@TyrexStudios LUNATIK! - youtube.com/@MadmanCarno Jamez Escaranio - youtube.com/@JamezEscaranio Zelcurt - youtube.com/@Zelcurt JimboCC - youtube.com/@jimbocc1291 MAKATOONY - youtube.com/@MAKATOONY VAL Animation - youtube.com/@vyuwern_AL KAIJUX 3D - youtube.com/@Kaijux-x8x Vrahno - youtube.com/@Vrahno Basilosaurus Channels - youtube.com/@BasilosaurusCha… Kasch Productions - youtube.com/@kaschproduction… Vanimation Films - youtube.com/@VanimationFilms GigaAnimams1 - youtube.com/@Giga-Anims Zaïloth - youtube.com/@Za%C3%AFloth Seal Animation - youtube.com/@SealAnimations Jack Rex - youtube.com/@Jack_Rex_Animat… Spishi - youtube.com/@Spishi_56 More than 29 creators, probably way more that I am not aware of. Countless hours of animation. Years of hard work. And livelihoods being affected. Animation does NOT automatically mean children's content. Many of us create content for general audiences, yet our channels are being classified under a policy that we believe does not accurately reflect our work. And what happens when we appeal? Automated responses. Rejections. Copy-paste explanations. And creators left fighting to prove that their own content has been misunderstood. We're want TRANSPARENCY, ACCOUNTABILITY, AND GENUINE HUMAN REVIEWS. @TeamYouTube @YouTube, please stop treating these as isolated cases. LOOK AT THE BIGGER PICTURE. We want our channels reviewed fairly. We want clear explanations. And if these demonetizations are mistakes, we want our monetization restored. To every animator affected: PLEASE SPEAK UP. Repost and Quote this tweet. Tag @TeamYouTube. Share your experience in the replies. Let's make sure this issue cannot be ignored any longer. OUR CHANNELS ARE OUR YEARS OF HARD WORK. THEY DESERVE A FAIR CHANCE.

BREAKING: @YouTube gave Explore With Us its monetization back, days after cutting off the 7.6M-sub true crime channel for "repetitive content." It took a viral backlash to get a real review. Small creators don't get a viral backlash. So what do they get?

BREAKING: @rumblevideo is going 90/10 on video ads starting Nov 1. YouTube's split is 55%. The catch: it's invite-only, and you need 10 uploads or streams in 30 days through Rumble Studio. Creators, would you move your uploads for 90%?

BREAKING: @YouTube went down worldwide. 24,000+ outage reports, about two hours of videos that wouldn't play. YouTube fixed it but never said what broke. If one platform going dark stops your income, is that a business or a lease?

X's copied post links now come with a tag: ?a= and &s= stuck after the link. What most people miss: even links in your DMs get wrapped in X's t.co, which logs clicks.

Nobody's talking about this: Meta's new business terms start Nov 20. They let Meta crawl websites tied to public @facebook and @instagram business accounts, creators included. Meta says robots.txt still works. The terms don't say that. Did you know your link in bio came with the deal?
