When I was a campus Conservative many years ago, a classmate brought a friend to one of our events. The friend thought we were a bunch of nerds and never came back.
She’s now my seatmate in the House of Commons. Who are the nerds now, @SandraCobena_?

Our appetite for and habituation to violence will be our society’s downfall.
Public executions don’t teach respect for human dignity and God’s image; they make violence a spectacle for public entertainment, and they corrupt the young and innocent. In modern America, there is no need for executions — they only breed vengeance, violence and dehumanization.
Satan loves this.

I am the Conservative Public Safety Critic and a former prosecutor who prosecuted a lot of gun crimes.
I won’t get involved in the race. But I will defend @ScottAAitchison. This is a complete mischaracterization of the bill and who he is. It also doesn’t reflect that his votes have been to keep the guns OFF our streets and punish those who carry them accordingly.
The same Liberals who tabled this bill earlier allowed people caught with handguns on our streets to serve their sentences on house arrest.
Shame on you.

🚨 ONE LIBERAL MP BROKE RANKS.
Kent MacDonald voted alongside Conservatives and the NDP on legislation concerning assisted dying for people whose sole underlying condition is mental illness.
The bill failed.
But MacDonald stood by his convictions.
ONE MAN. ONE VOTE. THE COURAGE TO STAND ALONE.
Respect. 🇨🇦

Vote for Brad

In an age dominated by technology, in which efficiency and profit often take precedence, it is so important that we continue to cultivate a spirit of contemplation and allow time and space for beauty. Such an attitude will greatly help humanity, especially young people, to discover the ability of art to uplift and reveal the depths of the human spirit and our openness to the divine. Contemplation presents a marvelous opportunity to encounter the God who is Beauty.

Brad Bradford is a much better choice than the current mayor
Thank you for withdrawing, @calxandr. The choice is clear: vote for @BradMBradford if you want a safer #Toronto where our hard-earned tax dollars are spent judiciously & responsibly, and is a city that we can all be proud of.
My wife and I will be voting for Brad.

🚨 TODAY 🚨
🚨Conservative motion in Parliament 🚨
That the House, in the interest of saving Canadians money and fuelling our country at home, call on the government to adopt the Emergency Fuel Relief Plan that:
a) provides for emergency pre-permitting and tax relief for the construction of diesel infrastructure, such as refineries, pipelines, rail and storage
b) eliminates all taxes on diesel consumption until at least Canada Day
c) permanently eliminates taxes on diesel production; and
call on the government to set the goal of boosting Canadian diesel production to one million barrels per day, allowing every Canadian business and consumer access to Canadian diesel.

Poliwave was the most accurate in terms of absolute seats count and popular vote but still got one more seats wrong than 338Canada. But the fact that aggregatores got over 90% accuracy for an election this chaotic is a miracle

Disappointing to see the PQ elected in Quebec, but encouraging to see that 72% of Quebecers voted for parties opposed to a secession referendum.
It's clear that the PQ was denied a majority, winning only 28% of popular vote, because of its commitment to holding a referendum.
In Quebec, no government dares to hold a referendum on something so divisive and consequential as secession unless they are elected with a clear democratic mandate to do so, which this government lacks.
Huge congratulations to my good friend of 30 years, the brilliant @E_Duhaime, on the historic @PconservateurQc breakthrough. He has won the first Conservative presence in the National Assembly in nearly a century!
