A Democrat organizer argues in an undercover video obtained by Ohio News that in order to get a Zohran Mamdani-type in the state, Amy Acton first has to be elected:
🚨 DAY ONE INVESTIGATIONS?
Vivek Ramaswamy says he’ll investigate Ohio communities where property taxes have more than DOUBLED since before COVID if elected governor.
With property tax collections up nearly 45% since 2020, Ramaswamy wants answers on where taxpayers’ money is going.
“This can’t go on.”
Republican gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy told Ohio.News that the fact his Democratic opponent, Amy Action, won’t debate should tell voters everything they need to know.
Republican gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy told Ohio.News that when a candidate refuses to show up on a debate stage, it forces the electorate to have to make judgments based on ads, and that is not the ideal way to do politics.
Eric Conroy, who is challenging Greg Landsman in the First Congressional District, said the only poll that counts is the one on Nov. 3, and that the polling he's seen is very encouraging, saying that many polls underestimate Republicans.
Speaking with Ohio News in Wilmington, Eric Conroy said U.S. Rep. Greg Landsman is too liberal for Ohio, saying that Southwest Ohioans have the opportunity to pick someone to represent the First Congressional District who represents common sense and conservative values.
In response to a question from Ohio News during a campaign stop in Wilmington, Republican U.S. Sen. Jon Husted blasted his opponent, Sherrod Brown, calling him “the godfather of democratic socialism.”
Democrats are concerned about Sherrod Brown’s lack of outreach to Black voters, according to a video obtained exclusively by Ohio News:
In an undercover video, the district organizing director for Democratic U.S. Rep. Emilia Sykes’ campaign acknowledged that Democrats take their voters for granted, blaming “very subtle racism” and accused candidates like U.S. Senate hopeful Sherrod Brown of being “in their bubbles.”
In an undercover video, the director of organizing and outreach for Democratic U.S. Rep. Emilia Sykes’ campaign lamented that they haven’t won statewide.
They view U.S. Senate hopeful Sherrod Brown as the only person who has demonstrated statewide viability, even though his previous campaign was concerning because he didn’t reach out to the Black community until late October.
The director of organizing and outreach for Democratic U.S. Rep. Emilia Sykes’ campaign wondered whether candidates should be more vocal or avoid alienating voters and potentially increasing MAGA turnout, even as he BLAMED TRUMP for racism.
🚨President Donald Trump is headed to CHILLICOTHE on Wednesday for a campaign event focused on voter turnout ahead of Ohio’s Nov. 3 election.
The visit comes as Ohio voters prepare to decide several closely watched races, including Vivek Ramaswamy vs. Amy Acton for governor and Sen. Jon Husted vs. former Sen. Sherrod Brown.
With Election Day less than two weeks away, all three contests are drawing attention as Republicans and Democrats focus on getting voters to the polls.
🚨JUST IN: Amy Acton’s own MOTHER is speaking out against her daughter in a video circulating just two weeks before Ohio’s governor election.
“My name is Donna Arthur and I’m Amy Acton’s mother,” she begins, before accusing Acton of lying about her childhood.
Arthur directly disputes Acton’s account of living in a tent, declaring, “None of that is true.”
She ends with an extraordinary message: “Don’t let her become your governor.”
The allegations remain unverified, but the public dispute between Acton and her mother is now drawing attention in the final weeks of the race.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Acton's mother lost custody of her children after years of documented issues, including time spent living in a tent and a spouse who sexually abused her daughter Amy (Acton). Amy Acton's brother has also confirmed this story.

A video obtained exclusively by Ohio News shows Democrat canvassers being taught to lie to voters about Flock cameras and sharing their concerns with the candidate:
In a video obtained exclusively by Ohio News, an organizer with OhioWins tells Dem canvassers to just “spitball and improvise” when talking to voters:
Gov. Mike DeWine has now granted 323 pardons through Ohio’s Expedited Pardon Project, nearly seven years after launching the program in 2019.
The program helps Ohioans with older, low-level convictions who have remained crime-free for at least 10 years. More than 340 applicants are still working toward a pardon.
With DeWine leaving office in January, the program’s future under the next governor remains uncertain.

Ohio is moving to enforce its gambling laws against Kalshi after a federal appeals court sided with the state in its fight over sports prediction markets.
The Sixth Circuit ruled that Kalshi failed to show its sports-event contracts are protected from state gambling laws under federal commodities law.
Gov. Mike DeWine says Ohio will now enforce state law against the platform, arguing its sports contracts amount to gambling and should be subject to the same licensing and regulatory requirements as sportsbooks.
Enbridge Gas Ohio customers could see their monthly bills increase under a proposed rate hike now before state regulators.
The latest proposal would increase the fixed monthly charge for residential customers by about $7.03, regardless of how much natural gas they use.
The Ohio Consumers’ Counsel is urging the PUCO to reject or reduce the increase. Enbridge originally sought about $163 million in additional annual revenue, citing higher operating costs and infrastructure investments.
