The Great Lakes have been one of your most requested destinations, and Real VR Fishing: Great Lakes & Oceans launches November 10 on Meta Quest ($12.99). The Steam version is expected on November 11. For all our saltwater lovers, we didn't forget you either. This DLC also takes you out to the Pacific coast, so you can switch between the lakes and the ocean. What's new - 10 new real-world locations across the Great Lakes and the Pacific coast - 30 new species, including 3 sharks - Freshwater Monsters: shark-sized battles, now in freshwater for the first time. To celebrate this colorful tradition, we're bringing back the Alebrije fish and special Alebrije-themed environments in the Mexico DLC! For those who missed the chance to catch these unique fish or experience the special Alebrije locations in previous years, we're excited to bring them back once again! Complete the Halloween collection to earn a saltwater rod and a Title. 🍬 Trick or Treat Candy You can earn Trick or Treat Candy as you fish! Spend your Candy on some of the past Halloween rewards. You can earn up to 5 Candy a day. 🦈 Two new sharks, ahead of schedule Thanks to your amazing support, the two new Halloween sharks we planned for October 20 are now part of this October 13 update! 🛠 Aquarium Fix We've fixed the aquarium fish arrangement issue. If you still run into any arrangement problems, press the Empty button in the aquarium UI to clear out the whole aquarium. Your fish will go back to the Fishdex. [Version 3.06078] Real VR Fishing 7th Anniversary Hotfix Patch Notes To help you enjoy the 7th Anniversary Event to the fullest, we've rolled out the following hotfix update. Bug Fixes 1. Fixed an issue where player height would change after returning from sleep mode 2. Added protective logging to prevent infinite loading 3. Fixed a UI display issue where the Mexico daily log overlapped with the 7th Anniversary event banner Content/Features 1. Changed the lure tutorial bait and adjusted the casting logic 2. Improved UI/UX for the 7th Anniversary Event 3. Added a Blacklist feature to prevent harassment in multiplayer - When a host presses the Ban button, that user is added to the host's blacklist. - Once blacklisted, a user can no longer enter that host's room, permanently. - If added by mistake, the host can remove a user by pressing the B button on the multiplayer map, then selecting the Blacklist button. [Fossil Hunt — Unlock the Event Maps!] To reach these event maps, you'll need to collect fossils — traces of each era's ancient life. Once you enter an event map, you'll find hints pointing you to the locations where that era's fossils can be found. Follow the hints, collect fossils at those locations, and the event map will unlock — along with your rewards. [Meet the Prehistoric Sharks in the Paleozoic Map!] This week's event map is the Paleozoic map! Collect 2 fossils to unlock it. Tip: Read the hints carefully! - Mesozoic map opens: September 22 - Cenozoic map opens: September 29 All maps remain playable through October 6. Unlock each map and catch every Paleozoic shark to earn a brand-new item as your reward!
