I’ve listened to nearly ever single one of these pods at this point, and the greatest takeaway has been a total shift in the way I now view open source mining.
I was critical in the past of “handing the formula over to Chinese manufacturers on a silver platter” after seeing the Chinese domination and centralization of home mining, along with the way it’s affected US builders and sellers forced to sell Chinese devices to stay in business. But I’ve learned that this is a necessary sacrifice, and that the greater good in this case is sharing Bitcoin mining with the world (Chinese kings of manufacturing included).
Mujina and Libre will ignite a new era far beyond the world of mini miners and lotto mining, and I’m here for it. Keep up the outstanding work.

Every time you need to warm something, you should be mining bitcoin. This example shows small ASICs heating the 3D printer bed and the filament dryer. Mining creates the heat you need while off-setting the energy cost by earning sats. @Real_PizzAndy @tabconf

I stopped at a gas station for an ice cream cone and encountered a man with what looked like a cartoonish glass eye and an umbrella cockatoo on his shoulder.
He was rambling to the cashier as I was approaching with my cone and the cashier said "just the cone?" To immediately end their interaction, as there's no telling how long he was in there. Then the bird man said "oh pardon me I'll get out of your way", and I said "I appreciate it" and he said "to the cone or to me moving?" And I replied "all of the above" then he said "good answer, young man" like a troll with a riddle and swiftly departed.
