🟥63 FAMILIES RECEIVED FRESH VEGETABLE PARCELS IN GAZA Today, our @rebuildgaza24 team on the ground provided fresh vegetable parcels to 63 families living in war-torn tents. Each parcel contained cucumbers, tomatoes, aubergines, lemons, onions, potatoes and green peppers.Our team deliberately chose fresh vegetables rather than meat. With little or no electricity for refrigeration, meat may provide food for one day, while these vegetables can be kept and used over several days, providing families with fresh, nutritious food for longer. We desperately wanted to reach more families, but our funds would only stretch to 63. The need is far greater than the resources we currently have. We can do more, but only with your support. 🟥PROJECT HOPE Our @rebuildgaza24 team in Khan Younis, led by Momen @momenzid_gaza and Ahmed @Ahmed_IsmaiLLI called this Project Hope because hope must remain. Around 60 freshly prepared fruit packages were distributed to kidney patients receiving dialysis and children suffering from malnutrition. Many of the dialysis patients are elderly, displaced and already physically exhausted by everything they have endured. In Gaza, access to fresh, nutritious food cannot be taken for granted. For patients already fighting illness and children weakened by malnutrition, fresh fruit and vegetables can provide vital nutrients and energy their bodies desperately need.
