The Embassy of Israel in the United Kingdom is deeply disturbed by the inflammatory and hateful rhetoric expressed on stage at the Glastonbury Festival.
Freedom of expression is a cornerstone of democracy. But when speech crosses into incitement, hatred, and advocacy of ethnic cleansing, it must be called out—especially when amplified by public figures on prominent platforms.
Chants such as “Death to the IDF,” and “From the river to the sea” are slogans that advocate for the dismantling of the State of Israel and implicitly call for the elimination of Jewish self-determination. When such messages are delivered before tens of thousands of festivalgoers and met with applause, it raises serious concerns about the normalisation of extremist language and the glorification of violence.
We call on Glastonbury Festival organisers, artists, and public leaders in the UK to denounce this rhetoric and reject of all forms of hatred.

Today, we Iranians are faced with something truly unbelievable:
Western, liberal, “woke” feminists, clueless about the brutal reality in our country, consistently stand with our oppressors under the delusion of saviorism. They have no understanding of the decades of humiliation, violence, and systemic oppression we’ve endured under the Islamic Republic.
Driven by their own need to feel morally superior, they claim to fight for justice while turning a blind eye to the suffering of millions. And let’s be honest, they are some of the most racist voices out there. They look at Iranians and other “brown people” as too backward, too uncivilized, too dumb to deserve real freedom or democracy. In their eyes, we’re wild animals, only manageable under tyranny.
But here’s the truth: we are the ones fighting for real freedom, the same freedom they weaponize to silence us. And we want absolutely nothing to do with their hypocrisy.
In fact, those who argue that @potus required congressional authorization before attacking Iran conveniently ignore history: Since WWII, 99% of the situations in which US presidents have used military force were without explicit prior approval from #Congress. (H/T @RichardHaass)
We are incorrect in acting as if this is some sort of great aberration. Bill Clinton bombed Kosovo, Sudan and Afghanistan during his presidency without congressional approval as an example. Obama and Biden too, both carried out strikes all over the world, the precedent was set a long time ago. Iran’s threat appeared to be imminent and it was taken out.

Dear Progressives: The U.S. attack on Iran was certainly NOT “unprovoked”.
Since the 1979 Islamic Revolution, the clerical regime in Tehran and its proxies have committed numerous attacks against Americans that have resulted in thousands of casualties.
