I’m starting to believe…
You’re starting to believe…
They’re starting to believe…

Replying to @JackPittBrooke
On a technical level it was good but even more impressive I think was that they stuck together, stuck to the plan, didn’t get thrown off by anything. And even more important than the win is the sense of belief and purpose it will engender.
I wonder what (hyper-defensive) Man City fan, Andy, would be saying about his cheating club these days? 🤔😂
I hope they throw the book at these smug b@stards. Forever looking at a hash-tagged set of trophies.

Whatever you do never tell a city fan their source of funding may not be kosher…… or from oil! @CheeseRoomHG did exactly that once 🤣
I’m with Bobby on the whole…
I’ll take a stumbling first half of the season, so long as I’m seeing signs of quality improvements.
It’s fine if the project eventually clicks and we see us finish the season strong, so we can be in the ascendancy next season.

Former Spurs forward Bobby Zamora on Spurs, the season so far and Roberto De Zerbi...
“Roberto’s all about build-up, playing out from the back, fantastic patterns, and cutting through lines. The final third, which is the hardest part of the game to do, will be focused on at some stage.
“I think his fundamentals and basics are probably taking up a lot of the time in training; Solanke will thrive when everything is finally there.
“I can see them finishing 10th, top half of the table, and then next season really kicking on.
“They’ve obviously signed a lot of players, and all eyes are on them because of that as well, adding even more pressure to them. But I do think that there are elements, and I’m seeing bits and pieces of the game that do show me improvement.
“As a striker, you want to be scoring early, and you want to be in a positive mindset when the pressure falls on you to take one chance that drops to you in a game. There just haven’t been enough chances for Tottenham in general; I think that will come.
“It’s down to one of those guys, one of the strikers, to take their opportunity and make their season, make them the number one choice.
“It’s a good opportunity currently for them to stake their claim.
“So, whoever jumps in, bags that first goal for them has a good chance of continuing in the side and making a really good season for themselves.”

I’m unhappy but not panicking.
Think about it…we have played exactly zero games with our best starting 11 in our best formation (4-2-3-1).
ZERO.
That is definitely a major factor. When everyone is fit, we will see better balance, better play, better results.
#THFC
Honestly assessing this team so far, we are blunt playing 4-3-3, with no CAM. We should be better balanced and connected turning to a 4-2-3-1, when one from Maddison/Xavi/Kulu returns.
Surely this is the starting 11, right??
I am convinced that we simply won’t (don’t) win football matches when we start Tel, Gallagher and/or Bergvall.
Kudus could start, with Savio LW, but #RDZ doesn’t seem to want that. Definitely questioning his starting 11’s tbh.
#THFC
It’s a cliche to think the missing pieces always solve the puzzle, but not having Maddison and Xavi for months has really killed us, particularly Maddison.
We really wrestled control back when he came on for 20mins. He leads by example, wants the ball, has trickery etc
#TOTEVE
What are the chances of #Maddison coming onto the pitch late on, scoring the winner and as part of the goal celebration raising up a shirt with the exiled #Richarlison’s name on it. 😂

What’s not RDZ’s fault:
🤦🏻♂️Players fluffing shots
🤦🏻♂️Tel’s end product
🤦🏻♂️Robertson asleep
What is RDZ’s fault:
❌Persevering with Tel and Gray
❌Porro on RW
❌Relying on a new signings for 90mins
❌Players unfit and undercooked
❌Players not fired up
❌Slow to instil ideas

Fully endorsing this tbh. 😂👍🏻
C’mon @SpursSongSheet, help make this happen. 🎵👍🏻
