Being a voice actor is something I crave very deeply, I know it takes time and is an exciting build up of different voices and styles that fit my sound.
So here I go collecting everything I can in the hope it will eventually showcase my 'talent'

This is perfect advice, when you start out in VA at first yr hit with, like most artists this level of individuality from casters, eg; they know what they want for the voices, thats not on you thats their desire for their project right so its not that yr no good.. JUST KEEP GOING
What does it take to get to the top levels of voice acting?
Well, just like any other career or creative outlet, training is an essential part of growth.
A coach or teacher can help you:
- recognize areas of improvement,
- push you outside your comfort zone,
- encourage you to keep working through challenges.

OH GOSH! I needed this so much xxx Thank you so so much, but don't worry.. I'll never give up, I'll never surrender for I know I can do this and I know you all can too <3
Yooo,
If you need to hear this, hope it helps.
Sometimes, the rejections seem like they keep coming. Audition after audition. You do everything you can. You follow what you've been taught. Your friends & colleagues say your acting is sound. But still, nothing.
Keep the faith. This field can be unforgiving with the rejections, but I do believe that if you keep at it, you'll find what you're meant for.
Stay the course. You got it.
Have a great weekend 👌
Oh Gosh this is extremely helpful and makes a lot of sense.. I still feel like I cannot quite see the wood for the trees but I am not going to stop Voice Acting is my thing forever #VoiceActing

You REALLY have to do voice acting for the love of the game, because the amount of times you’ll be passed up or told no is substantial. Every audition I record, I treat not like a chance to maybe play that character later but like a character I’m taking on already
this was my first most professional style reading and im proud of it, my plan is to create many more like this <3

It was a true pleasure recently spending 3 hours with Troy Baker for a very rare #voiceacting workshop. 🎙️
To think he nearly walked away from this audition for Joel, thinking he wasn’t right for the role.
Funny how things work out…
We all took away a lot of wisdom.

A long time ago I bought an original J O Barr marker drawing with the last of my rent money and I never regretted it, not once. When I saw this it reminded me of how that art made me feel. @DonAquillo You are a genius!!!!
