I’d have accepted the consequences if MC had drafted in loads of kids today. A statement needs to be made by him so he’s now got to rely on those who’ve got us here. The proof will be in the puddin. @ManUtd #MUFC

Hope Carrick drops all the coasters and shirkers, and anyone who won’t bleed for us on Saturday. Maguire gets in on effort, Cunha is a concern because of attitude. Heaven and Mount would get spots if there’s no one to step up . The rest should be academy boys. #ManUtd #MUFC

High level management in a global organisation, massively underperforming, would make decisive management changes. Wilcox and Carrick have to go. Berrada needs to do it to save his own job. #MUFC

I hope in the fallout of whatever happens to Citeh, it begins a fundamental change in football club ownership in England starting with @ManUtd. Time for some kind of fan majority ownership like in the Bundesliga. #mufc

#MUFC looked good yesterday but I still feel another striker is needed to help Sesko develop and a couple of fullbacks to bridge this season.

I had a beer or 2 yesterday. Did I really see @LFC are getting £100m for #Gakpo? Surely I’ve made that up. £100m? They should snap their hands off.

Utd should drop a bid for #Mateta in the coming days. An excellent alternative upfront for us. #MUFC

Can see Bezos’ investment in @LFC open the gates to more of the ‘mega-rich’ wanting involvement in the big clubs. Valuing the scousers at over £5.5bn, does mean the Glazers will expect £10bn for @ManUtd unfortunately, and we come with £1bn of debt which needs to go.

I’m glad I’ve brought my lads up to support @ManUtd and not focus on superstar names. We do need to reinforce the squad but not just by spending £100m on players - we’ve been there, done that. @lauriewhitwell @jonmikesav8 #MUFC

I know I’m biased but I also think I’m honest and I don’t get #AnthonyGordon. I think there’s a lot better wide players out there, including @MarcusRashford. I don’t get why Barca want him for £70m over Rashford for £30m? #MUFC

Ole or Ruud with Keano till the summer. Let Fletcher continue developing with the academy as a potential boss. Likewise Carrick and McKenna - get experience elsewhere before taking the big job. Iraola or de Zerbi in the summer. #MUFC

Feel sorry for Amorim but he’s not been good enough. Some linked on here are laughable. Glasner? SAme system as RA and will have the same problems. Maresca? Anyone read Chelsea’s statement? We’ve destroyed two upcoming coaches in EtH and RA. Need someone with balls. #MUFC

We’re going to end up with Southgate aren’t we? #mufc

Could we be going 4-4–1-1? Shaw Matinez Heaven Yoro - Dalot Ugarte Casemiro Dorgu - Cunha - Sesko? #mufc

That’s a well fought point today. 2 months ago we lose that. @ManUtd will now be pissed we didn’t win it.. A bit of a reality check after some dizziness recently but still great progress. #manutd

Holy fudge. Amad’s goal!!!! #manutd
