How do you know when to sell?
Here are 4 different sell rules 👇
1️⃣ Sell strength
Don't wait for the top. When a stock is running in your favor, take some off into the move.
2️⃣ Sell when it doesn't hold above a prior high
If a stock pushes through the old high and then slips back under it, the buyers didn't follow through. That's your cue to reduce.
3️⃣ Sell when it goes red
A trade that was working and flips from green to red is telling you something. Don't let a winner turn into a loser while you hope it comes back.
4️⃣ Sell when the trade really changes and gets below a prior day's low
The prior day's low is the line in the sand. Once price breaks below it, the character of the trade has changed. Respect it and step aside.
You don't need one perfect exit. You need rules you set before you're in the trade.
