Sean O'Brien's at the RNC is disappointing but unsurprising. The path to independent labor politics doesn't come from courting both Ds and Rs, but from building separately of both. Unions shouldn't carry water for anti-LGBTQ, anti-worker politicians in the name of "independence"

To actually balance DSAs budget it seems like we can choose to cut from:
- convention
- chapter dues sharing
- new costs approved at convention
- staff
None can be exempt from scrutiny, but we should absolutely not prioritize keeping staff over funding our actual chapters.

Solidarity on this International Working Women's Day! The fight for women's rights, equality, and liberation is not yet finished. That fight will not be led by the capitalist parties, but by a movement of working women.
Only we can guarantee our collective safety because only we are primarily interested in that. Why should an economy that eats up our lives, bodies and minds be so dangerous to the many and secure for only a few?

The solution to defeating fascists has to lie outside of the Democratic Party, their interests are the same as those of all capitalists. Any hope of removing a fascistic threat lies not within the ballot box but within a true working class movement that replaces the current state
