New episode out tomorrow!
Andrea Heinz interviews @celinemanon_ about the mutual vulnerabilities that led them into the #sexualexploitation industry, the impact of entertainment media on entering #prostitution, and Céline’s previous pro-industry advocacy. Together, they reflect on how much they’ve changed in their understanding of #selflove and #selfrespect, and how #collectiveliberation should replace self-abandonment and hyperindividualism.

🎙️✨ ANNOUNCEMENT ✨🎙️
This October 5th – International Day of No Prostitution – we're proud to present the "Voice for Equality" Award, created by the survivor-led team at Red Light Exposé, for the 2nd time!
This annual award honors courageous truth-tellers who speak out for the Equality Model and amplify the voices of those who've been exploited in the commercial sex industry.
🔥 This year's recipient is Melanie Thompson, whose extraordinary courage, leadership, and unwavering advocacy have made her a powerful voice for women and girls affected by trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation. Her tireless advocacy for the Sex Trade Survivors Justice & Equality Act @EqualityModelNY in New York inspires activists around the world who fight for survivors to be protected, supported, and treated with dignity while exploiters and buyers are held accountable.
💥 The Voice for Equality Award is more than recognition – it's a call to action. By shining a light on those brave enough to speak truth to power, it reminds us that real change starts when we center survivors and challenge systems of exploitation.
Congratulations and appreciation to Melanie Thompson, a true Voice for Equality!

R.C. Hörsch was a career criminal, pornographer, and prolific #misogynist. He is also suspected of committing at least 5 femicides. @JoSybil63018 and @EllyArrow investigate how and why someone like Hörsch was positively received in parts of the art world and in the porn industry, and why, conversely, he did his best to legitimize filmed and photographed #sexualexploitation of women.

The presence of armies makes #commercialsexualexploitation spike; however, the attitudes soldiers show toward women in #prostitution and #pornography easily and frequently affect their treatment of other women, too, especially those who fight alongside them. In this livestream, @JoSybil63018 and @EllyArrow go into prominent cases of male #military personnel attacking their female colleagues and the ways in which, in some settings, women #soldiers are actively offered as a reward to #imperialist and #revolutionary male combatants alike.

The #USmilitary constitutes a prolific sexual exploiter of women, children, and young men across the world. In this livestream, @ellyarrow and @JoSybil63018 discuss an in-depth report about the U.S. military presence in #SouthKorea and the fallout for the local community and the women exploited by #gijoes, the unplanned children that result, and the utterly destructive male-female occupier-occupied dynamics it creates.

Andrea Heinz speaks to @renzenauta of @cardusca, a non-partisan think-tank in Canada, about his recent report titled "Is '#SexWork' Actually Work? Human #Dignity, #Liberty, and #ProstitutionPolicy in Canada". They trace the history of the prostitution debate in #Canada, policy results of a #NordicModel with only partial implementation, the reality for exploited women, and why, at its core, #prostitution is incompatible with dignified labor, genuine economic liberty and human flourishing.
