The mill is open from 9am on Good Friday for freshly baked hot-cross buns, bread, cakes, tea/coffee, flour and oats. The museum is open too.

Our volunteers have been out on the #RiverVer in October. From repairing the willow spiling at Redbournbury Mill to retrieving rubbish from the river in St Albans, there's always plenty needs doing on a #chalkstream.

A lovely article in the April edition of @countrylivinguk about the mill and hot-cross buns from the mill's bakery. Our hot-cross buns can be purchased from the mill on Saturday mornings and local farmers' markets. Also available from @CarpentersNurs in St Albans
Harpenden Christmas market has been cancelled due to forecast high winds. Instead, you can purchase your Christmas cakes, stollen and mince-pies from the mill on Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon. (and bread and flour of course!) @HarpendenTown

We won't be at the Farmers' Market @HarpendenTown on Sunday. Apologies for any disappointment. Bread and flour can be purchased from the mill on Saturday (21st September) from 9am - 1pm or on Sunday afternoon.
The mill is open until 4.30pm today. We will be milling wholemeal wheat flour.
Lots of bread available inside the mill all at reduced price.
It's a beautiful afternoon to visit your local watermill.

E. coli levels in the #RiverVer chalk stream have been confirmed at six times the bathing standard. Our May samples show discharges from Markyate STW have contaminated the river. 2024 spills are 2400hrs and continuing, even in the current dry weather. riverver.co.uk/e-coli-levels…
