Sam #A1857331 has no idea he’s about to die😔 This 4 yr old boy is hidden in the back of the shelter, where no one can see his sweet face. He’s not allowed in the play yard. He has no visibility. No fair chance. He’s been failed by the system—and now the clock is ticking.😭
He’s stunning. Smart. Loyal. A 75 lb #GermanShepherd who just wants out of this terrifying place.
But the stress is eating him alive.
He barks. He lunges at the kennel door. He’s desperate. And that behavior is being used against him. He’s labeled. Misunderstood. And that label is a death sentence.
Sam is not aggressive. He’s terrified.

Williams admitted animal welfare offences in relation to four dogs – including a mum and her young pup – and a cat. The animals were seized by police after they were found living in a rubbish and faeces-strewn property and with no access to food or water. All of them were underweight with their bones visible through their fur.
Williams also failed to seek veterinary treatment for one dog with chronic hip problems and a paralysed hind leg he was unable to use. Sadly vets felt the kindest option for this dog was euthanasia.
The surviving dogs and cat were all signed over into the care of the RSPCA and have been rehoused.
Sentencing | 18-month supervision order with 25 days of ‘rehabilitation’ and six-month alcohol treatment order; £164 costs. 15-year ban but can appeal after just five years.
