Watch it unroll ☀️
This is the moment! Redwire's seventh ROSA wing is unrolling on the @Space_Station using nothing but its own stored energy. No motors needed. Once deployed, it adds 20+ kW of power to the station.

The IROSAs were designed, manufactured, and tested by @Redwire under a contract with @BoeingSpace and are about half the size of the station’s legacy arrays. Despite being smaller, the arrays are capable of producing about 28 kilowatts of additional power.

Our Hera spacecraft can now see Didymos and Dimorphos as two separate asteroids!
Coming closer, it will study the effects of NASA's 2022 DART impact and help advance asteroid deflection as a planetary defence technique.
The first detailed images of Dimorphos are expected on 25 November.

Honda Robotics is expanding what’s possible beyond Earth. As commercial space stations evolve, astronauts will need to accomplish more with smaller crews.
We are exploring a robotics solution that could automate routine research activities in orbit. By combining the Honda multi-fingered robotic hand, capable of precise laboratory tasks with human-like dexterity, with @Redwire's STAARK robotic arm and experiment locker technology, the solution could automate portions of the research workflow and free up valuable crew time for scientific discovery.
This concept builds on Honda’s commitment to advancing technologies for the next era of space exploration. We look forward to connecting with commercial station developers and prospective partners at #IAC2026.
