You absolutely CANNOT allow money to dictate how you express yourself!
As soon as you do, you forfeit your AUTHENTICITY and become a slave to the illusory matrix that has 99% of this species under its total dominance.
Stop being afraid—and express yourself as you need to.

HOA’s are policing what kind of candy you can give out now!? 💀
My HOA sent me a letter requesting that I stop handing out full-size candy bars for Halloween this year.
-Fun-size bars are usually 15–25¢ each.
-Full-size are around 75¢–$1.
Most people give out 2–3 fun-size anyway, so the real difference is often only a few cents per kid.
Am I crazy, or is it weird for an HOA to police this?
Another to the pile of actually good advice that is misattributed to the wrong person.
Though to be fair it is based heavily within concepts Seneca has indeed spoken about so it is far from egregious as others I have seen.
One misconception about writing horror that irks me a little is “It’s fear of the unknown that drives it” which is honestly incorrect.
Many horror narratives rely on the inverse idea: the burden of knowledge as a concept, otherwise what is there to be afraid of?
I think the main reason I am not into the Malfoid or Girl Malfoy trend is because a true adaptation of Malfoy as a female character would basically be an evil Hermione at the end of the day.
Nothing like the Mythra/Asuka-esq Tsundere many fan artists depict her as.
Part of me wants to blame my fellow Millennials for trying to take things for the kids and “elevate it”, but I just know for a fact that when it comes to Halloween sucking nowadays comes from local HOA groups restricting what can and can’t be done.

A heartbreaking day. Richard was a stellar talent who joined the game industry in his 40's when Apogee hired him to join the Duke 3D team. He was a relentless hard worker, a fun teammate, and an overall great human.
His levels in Duke Nukem 3D and Sin will live on forever. And Richard created one of the best easter eggs in gaming history: "You're not supposed to be here! -- Levelord"
RIP

Creative control is important, but something equally important is having a collaborator or editor you can bounce off of who’ll either give you constructive criticism or will bluntly tell you “no” when something is a bad idea, even if they’re being harsh.
For example:
All companies and studios are, this is the fundamental flaw with brand loyalty mindsets; what happens when the brand starts being disloyal to it’s original goals in favor of a new one just because it is new?
Modern Dating having problems doesn't prove Arranged Marriage is the solution, it has it’s own problems that the critics of Modern Dating often ignore or be ignorant about.
The truth is you can’t brute force all of society into finding love.
