Thousands of boxes sold out in minutes. People stuck on error screens or the "Hourglass of Doom".
Bots are getting worse. More people are using them. Online drops are becoming more glitched and unfair.
Sets like the 30th Anniversary will be nearly impossible for normal collectors to get at a fair price. Big sellers already dropping ETB preorders for $200+. If this doesn't start to reverse soon, it will only continue to get worse.
Avoid FOMO at all costs and don't give these losers a dollar. Businesses that buy them out.... Don't give them a cent either. It only stops when someone has to hold the bag.
I’m genuinely worried it’s about to get really bad for the hobby. And the blame for how bad it has gotten and will get falls squarely on TPCI. Most collectors want to feel excited for upcoming sets, but most are just feeling frustrated at the state of the hobby.
I sympathize with everyone's frustrations that hoped for the online drop but couldn't wait hours in line this morning. I hope you guys get the next drop you try. Until then, consider buying singles as many are down or buy one of the more available sets to fill your Pokemon ripping itch.
