Lowkey if I were told to make my own version of Halo 4 I would probably go with the "Chief finds a Forerunner" plot too. It seems like the obvious way to move forward. Either that or I'd have a Created-esque faction that tempts Cortana with a cure to her rampancy

I know it's a trope for Toga to go into the hero course, but I don't think she'd be a hero.

Dear Activision: continue the story from Halo 3 forward. Retcon the fuck out of the 343 era.

Being put under for surgery is fucking wild because you'll be laying there kinda anxious and the next second you're in recovery like you just fast traveled. And your teeth or your internal organs are gone

In abandoning his love he abandons the reason why he did all this in the first place

too “yeah miquella was genuinely a good kind person” for his haters, too “but also his path genuinely still wasn’t right, because choosing fate for everyone IS not right, also the tragedy is that he was damning himself for everything” for some fans

We also would be killing the rest of her siblings + her dad as part of a normal run.

rly strange how so many people emphasize the “killed her brother” part of ranni’s sins. like maybe her brother sucked. its not like they were probably close anyway if they both had (mostly) different parents. its also medieval royal fantasy

So do all the people who would press red not have kids or spouses? Because getting reset to 10 would erase all that
