In this episode, we interview Chuck Collins on his new novel, "Altar to an Erupting Sun." He addresses the work of activism and the value of community, and asks what tactics are on the table as we face the destruction of the planet. Find the book at chuckcollinswrites.com.
Listen to our recent interview with Dr. David Bentley Hart! We discuss Bible translation as an act of resistance, the Christian sources and support for social democracy, and the moral demands of human and creaturely relations to care for one another.

Have you missed our conversations with Joerg Rieger? Well, we've got TWO podcast episodes to help you catch up.
Joerg's new book – "Theology in the Capitalocene" – is an important contribution to the public discourse on religion, climate, capitalism, and solidarity.

Most issues relevant to building a revolutionary movement are unaffected by whether someone believes in a god or a spirit world. Emphasising the critique of people's beliefs will however drive them away. How about just extending empathy, and not alienating 6 billion people?

In my new book (out today!) I argue for secular leftists to rethink their stance on religion and spirituality.
Engaging productively with religion and spirituality — rather than always as an antagonist — opens up new political potentials on many scales

3/ Today, religion is far from uniformly reactionary — in the US for instance, the rise of Christian nationalism is being opposed by religious people and organisations who support LGBT rights and workers' struggle (like @smashmammon @religsocialism and @themagnificast)
📣 Episode 3 of our podcast season has dropped! 📣
