Over the past two weeks, we’ve traveled across PA-1 delivering more than $27.5 MILLION for 11 transformative community projects—bringing the total funding I’ve secured for dozens of local projects since FY22 to over $80 MILLION.
Behind every one of these investments is a local priority and a strong community partnership.
Over the past year, I’ve worked shoulder to shoulder with our local leaders, first responders, nonprofits, and community advocates to identify pressing needs, develop solutions, and secure the federal resources to address them.
ICYMI, here’s where this year’s $27.5 million is going:
✅ $4M — New Bensalem Township Fire Station
✅ $2M — Bristol Township Emergency Homeless Shelter
✅ $2M — New Consolidated Bristol Borough Fire Station
✅ $5M — Long Term Solution for Bristol Township/Haines Road Bridge
✅ $1.25M — Permanent Home United Way HELP Center
✅ $2M — Boone Farm Expansion for the African American Community Center and African American Museum of Bucks County
✅ $2.1M — Bucks County Public Safety Initiative
✅ $1M — Doylestown Township Streetscape
✅ $5.211M — Lower Makefield Flood Mitigation
✅ $2M — Middletown Township Public Works Complex
✅ $1M — Hatfield Borough Storm Water Infrastructure Improvements
Each of these projects reflects the work I do every day across our district—meeting directly with our community partners, listening to their priorities, and working together to turn local needs into meaningful results.
My sincere thanks to every local leader and community partner who helped make these investments possible. I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished together and look forward to continuing our work to deliver lasting results for PA-1.

Over the past year, I’ve worked side by side with local leaders across Bucks and Montgomery Counties to identify our communities’ most pressing needs and fight to secure the federal resources to address them.
Today, I’m proud to share that we’ve delivered $1 MILLION for MontCo to replace aging stormwater and sanitary sewer infrastructure beneath heavily traveled roadways in Hatfield Borough, addressing longstanding public safety issues and health concerns.
This is one of 11 community-driven projects totaling more than $27.5 million I’ve secured for PA-1 this year, bringing our total to over $80 million since FY22. Each of these projects reflect the work I do every day across our district—meeting with our community partners, taking their insights, and working together to create meaningful change and deliver results.
My sincere thanks to our Hatfield Borough leaders and all our local partners for their continued collaboration—here’s to more progress and continued results for MontCo!
🚨 Proud to share I’ve secured $2 MILLION in federal funding to help build a new, state-of-the-art fire station in Historic Bristol Borough—replacing four aging fire facilities with one centralized emergency response hub. By bringing all the firefighters, modern resources, and a Bucks County Rescue Squad substation under one roof, we’re strengthening emergency readiness, improving response times, and delivering better protection for our community.
As Co-Chair of the Congressional Fire Services Caucus, I’ve made it my mission to ensure our first responder heroes have the resources, facilities, and support they need and deserve to do their jobs safely and effectively. When our communities need them most, they never hesitate to answer the call. We owe them that same unwavering commitment in return.
This is one of 11 community projects totaling more than $27.5 million I’ve secured for PA-1 this year, bringing our total to over $80 million since FY22. I’m proud to keep building the partnerships and delivering the results that address our communities’ most pressing needs.
My sincere thanks to Borough Council President Ralph DiGuiseppe, Ralph DiGuiseppe III, the entire Borough Council, our dedicated first responders, and everyone who has helped bring this project to life. Proud to keep getting things done for Historic Bristol Borough!

Great to be back with the students at Central Bucks School District East! These students never fail to impress me with their thoughtful questions, perspectives, and ideas. We had a great, wide-ranging discussion about government, national security, and the challenges and opportunities facing our community, country, and world.
A special thank you to Ms. Prothero and the entire CB East team for inviting me back and for all you do to empower and inspire our next generation of leaders and problem solvers!
Ten years of bringing our community together. Twenty years of changing lives.
Incredible afternoon with neighbors, and the entire Potential Inc. family in Newtown for their 10th Annual Car Show for Autism!
For two decades, Kristine Quinby and her team have worked every day to help families find support, pioneer innovative programs, and open new doors of opportunity for children and adults with autism.
Their leadership and insights continue to inform my work in Congress, from expanding access to evidence-based services and advancing autism research to strengthening pathways to meaningful employment and greater independence.
My heartfelt thanks to Kristine, the entire Potential team, and every family, volunteer, and supporter who has helped build something so special right here in our community.
A special evening of solidarity with our friends at the Ukrainian American Sport Center in North Wales, standing alongside our Ukrainian-American community in support of the Ukrainian people and their fight for freedom.
This week, I introduced the Ronald Reagan Peace Through Strength Act to ensure not a single drop of Russian oil enters the United States while Putin continues his war against Ukraine, and to safeguard critical U.S. intelligence support for Ukraine.
We cannot stand with Ukraine and bankroll Putin’s war. We cannot seek peace while subsidizing aggression. Peace through strength means ensuring tyranny never pays.
My heartfelt thanks to our friends at Tryzub for bringing us together, for their steadfast partnership, and for all they do to strengthen and enrich our community. Together, we will continue standing with the people of Ukraine, defending their freedom and sovereignty, and working toward a just and lasting peace. 🇺🇸🇺🇦
Great to visit my partners at the Bucks County Intermediate Unit’s state-of-the-art Fab Lab in Warminster, where hands-on STEM education is turning curiosity into creativity, ideas into innovation, and opening new doors for the next generation.
Those opportunities begin long before students enter a classroom like this. Last year, when Bucks IU’s Head Start funding was at risk, we got straight to work. I engaged HHS and the White House to protect these vital early childhood programs through the school year and secure a full five-year renewal. We accomplished both. Just last month, I brought HHS leadership to Bucks IU to build on that progress and continue strengthening the programs and opportunities available to our children and families.
My sincere thanks to Dr. Mark Hoffman and the entire Bucks IU team for their exceptional work and continued partnership. Together, we will continue working to ensure every child has the support, opportunities, and strong foundation they need to learn, grow, and reach their full potential.
Sanghe Shaktihi means strength in unity.
Diwali celebrates the triumph of light over darkness, hope over fear, and good over evil. But its message reaches far beyond a single celebration: our greatest strength is found when we stand together.
A wonderful evening at Lahma in Bensalem, joining friends and neighbors to kick off this year’s Diwali celebrations!
My heartfelt thanks to Yagnesh Choksi and everyone who made this gathering so special, and who continue to strengthen our community through friendship, service, and faith.
As Diwali approaches, wishing all who celebrate a season filled with peace, prosperity, hope, and light!
A full house and a fantastic evening with our friends at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish in Croydon!
Many thanks to Marie Kelly, the Ladies of the Knights of Columbus, and the entire parish community for hosting such a wonderful night and for the remarkable work they do year-round to bring people together and serve our neighbors throughout Bucks County!
Great afternoon with the incredible residents and teams at Brookdale Northampton in Richboro and Revelle of Bucks County in Warminster, discussing an issue that matters to so many families: keeping quality senior care affordable, accessible, and close to home.
Earlier this year, I met with Susan Saxinger, Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Assisted Living Association, to discuss these challenges. We’re advancing that work through my bipartisan Caring for Our Seniors Act (H.R. 3000), which would help lower senior care costs and expand workforce training opportunities to recruit, train, and retain more direct care professionals.
Supporting our seniors means supporting the people who care for them. Affordable care and a strong caregiving workforce go hand in hand, and we must strengthen both.
My sincere thanks to Brookdale Executive Director Sherri Hoffman and her entire team, Revelle Residence Director Kim Cahilll Yannuzzi and her entire team, Susan and PALA for their continued partnership, and especially the residents and community members for their insights and warm welcome!
