The Trump administration's commitment to American manufacturing is bringing good-paying jobs to Tennessee's First District!
Thank you @ENERGY for working with me to make this $375M award a smarter investment which strengthens our domestic supply chains.harshbarger.house.gov/media/…

🚨NEW: @RepMaryMiller leads 44 lawmakers — including many HFC members — in demanding the 2030 Census count ONLY U.S. citizens for apportionment.
The Constitution is clear: the Census exists to count citizens for representation. Nothing more.
Restore it.
I have always said that patient safety must come first. We need a science-based approach to peptide regulation that recognizes legitimate medical needs while protecting patients from unsafe products. I want the FDA to follow the evidence, establish appropriate safeguards, and make decisions in the best interests of patients.
This policy is a great first step, and I look forward to further engagement with @HHSGov and @FDA as we continue to look for solutions that deliver trusted access to peptide therapies.
The Health and Human Service said Wednesday it will temporarily allow compounding pharmacies to make six peptides available by prescription.

🚨 MUST-WATCH: Gavin Newsom is saying the quiet part out loud.
Democrats have fully succumbed to the radical demands of their Socialist base. Their extreme agenda has gone mainstream and threatens to fundamentally reshape our way of life.
We are in a battle for the soul of America.
On National First Responders Day, we thank the fearless men and women who run toward danger so the rest of us can get to safety.
East Tennessee is forever grateful for our firefighters, EMTs, deputies, dispatchers, and all our heroes who put service before self.
What an honor to visit Mountain Home VA in Johnson City and present a letter signed by @POTUS to Mr. James Wooten Jr., a 100-year-old WWII veteran.
Men like Mr. Wooten saved the free world, and we owe them a debt we can never fully repay. Thank you for your service! 🇺🇸
I was proud to support the Working Families Tax Cuts, and here’s a great example of what they’re delivering in East Tennessee!
Seaman Corporation in Bristol is expanding production by 350K sq. ft., growing its workforce 30%, and reinvesting in American manufacturing. 🇺🇸
Seaman Corporation is undergoing a major 350,000-square-foot expansion in Bristol, Tennessee—and the 2025 tax law, which secured many pro-growth tax policies, will help the company significantly with the project. @TaxCuts #ManufacturingWins

Happy #NationalTennesseeDay!
From the Great Smoky Mountains to the banks of the Mississippi, from Dollywood to the Grand Ole Opry to Beale Street, there’s no place quite like the Volunteer State, and no better people than Tennesseans.
I'm proud to call it home!
Reminder: Medicare open enrollment is underway and runs through December 7!

Praying for my colleague @RepKeithSelf and his family. Keith has been a strong voice against radical Islam and Sharia law in America, and this is a sobering reminder that the threat is real and it's already on our soil. We cannot afford to look the other way.
Thank you to the FBI and our law enforcement officers for their vigilance.
I am grateful to the FBI and law enforcement for stopping this threat. My family and I are safe, and I remain focused on serving the people of Texas’ 3rd District.
Preserving our constitutional republic from radical Islam means accepting the costs that come with it—name-calling, threats, and worse.
Our Founders believed this country was worth the sacrifice. I served 25 years in the military because defending freedom was worth the sacrifice. This only strengthens my resolve. I will not back down. wfaa.com/article/news/crime/…

🚨 Every taxpayer dollar a scammer steals comes directly out of the pocket of a hardworking American family.
The new Fraud Whistleblower Incentive Program rewards the tips that help bring these criminals to justice, so if you see fraud, report it at fraud.gov. ⤵️
17 straight months of ZERO releases at the border!
But we can’t take this progress for granted. As @POTUS has pointed out, France is a warning of what happens when a nation fails to control illegal immigration and enforce its laws.
America must not repeat that mistake.

🚨 Democrats deliberately allowed foreign nationals to flood our country and stay without proper vetting for years while American communities paid the price.
Thanks to Republican leadership, those days are OVER.
We are once again a nation of law and order, and the safety of Americans comes FIRST.
Washington has banned home distilling since 1868. Now the Supreme Court is taking a look.
Congress doesn't have to wait on the courts. My Freedom to Home Distill Act ends the ban on home distilling for personal use.
It's that simple!
