This week, I had the honor of joining President Trump at the White House.
I’m committed to continuing our work together to secure our borders, strengthen the economy, eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse, and reclaim America’s energy dominance. I remain dedicated to advancing commonsense policies that benefit every American!
Crime plummeted across the U.S. in 2025 under Republican leadership. Enforcing the law leads to people following the law.

Today, on National First Responders Day, we honor the brave men and women who answer the call when our communities need them most. From firefighters and law enforcement officers to EMTs and emergency personnel, these dedicated professionals put the safety of others before their own. We are grateful for their courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to keeping our communities safe.
This is a huge step towards getting justice for James, but we still have work to do to ensure our children are protected. I am proud to lead the James T. Woods Act, and I am working to get it passed in the Senate.

We are making America safe again! 🇺🇸 New DOJ data shows serious violent crime dropped 25% in 2025, with aggravated assaults down by 31%.
@POTUS and @HouseGOP are putting public safety first, standing with law enforcement, and working to keep American families safe.

This is common sense.
Thank you, @VP, for leading the fight against fraud. I am proud to sign this pledge.
Do you hate fraud?
If so, I’m calling on you to join me in taking the pledge to protect Americans from fraudsters, by doing everything in your power to ensure that:
1. Vulnerable Americans, such as the elderly, indigent, and disabled, are protected from fraudsters who seek to prey on them.
2. Taxpayer-funded programs serve law-abiding Americans, not illegal aliens or fraudsters.
3. Taxpayer-funded benefits are not used by fraudsters to buy mansions or luxury cars.
4. Public agencies and officials work tirelessly and aggressively, coordinating at all levels of government, to stop fraud before payments go out the door.
5. Fraudsters face justice for their crimes in a court of law. Convicted fraudsters will be imprisoned and barred from ever receiving another penny of taxpayer dollars.
6. Illegal alien fraudsters are promptly arrested, prosecuted, imprisoned, and deported, never able to take advantage of Americans’ generosity again.

The Sloth World tragedy where 50+ sloths died cannot happen again.
Yesterday, on International Sloth Day, I introduced the SLOTHS Act with @RepLaurelLee to help stop the illegal trade and exploitation of wild sloths before more animals suffer.
New Jersey improperly registered over 6,000 noncitizens to vote, yet has failed to explain how this happened or why they remained on voter rolls until 2026.
Today, I join Chairman @RepBryanSteil and Chairman @Jim_Jordan in issuing a subpoena to demand accountability. Election integrity is not optional.

SUBPOENAED: Chairmen @Jim_Jordan, @RepBryanSteil, @Congressman_JVD, and @RepLaurelLee subpoenaed New Jersey's Acting Secretary of State for information on how it registered over 6,000 noncitizens to vote.
After 79 days, only 12 documents have been produced to the Committees.
The New Jersey Department of State can try to stonewall all they want, but this isn't going away.
American deserve secure elections.

The deaths of 50+ sloths at the planned Sloth World attraction here in Orlando were a tragedy. And we have to ensure it never happens again.
That's why today, on International Sloth Day, @RepLaurelLee and I are taking action by introducing the Stopping Legalized Organized Trafficking and Harm to Sloths Act—SLOTHS Act.
This bipartisan bill would prohibit sloth imports into the United States, with limited exceptions and ensure that the demand for these animals doesn’t continue to fuel a trade that puts their lives at risk.
Protecting wildlife should not be a partisan issue. 🦥
I am proud to join @RepMaxwellFrost in introducing the bipartisan SLOTHS Act to put an end to the commercial exploitation of these vulnerable animals.

More than 50 sloths died in Florida. Their suffering was preventable, and their deaths demand action.
Today, on International Sloth Day, I am introducing the bipartisan SLOTHS Act alongside @RepMaxwellFrost to ban the importation of wild-caught sloths into the United States and strengthen protections for these vulnerable animals.
We have a responsibility to ensure that tragedies like this are never repeated.

The tragic deaths of more than 50 sloths in Florida exposed the devastating consequences of importing wild-caught sloths into the United States.
Today, I am joining @RepMaxwellFrost to introduce the bipartisan SLOTHS Act to prohibit the importation of wild-caught sloths into the United States. These animals should never be subjected to such suffering, and this legislation is an important step toward preventing another tragedy.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
According to Florida Health CHARTS, approximately 132 women per 100,000 are diagnosed with breast cancer in Florida annually. This statistic is a powerful reminder of the importance of raising awareness and improving outcomes for women facing this disease.
My heart is with every woman and family affected by breast cancer. We must continue supporting efforts to improve access to lifesaving screenings and advance research toward a cure.
Great news for @USouthFlorida!
I was pleased to lead this $2 million investment to establish Florida’s first university AI and Cyber Makerspace.
This new facility will provide students with valuable hands-on experience and help position Tampa Bay as a leader in AI and cybersecurity innovation.
