Montana’s public lands are under attack. Trump’s plan to offload federal land will tear apart the wild places that define who we are.
We’ve fought before to keep Montana's land public.
We’re ready to fight again.

it’s almost as if corporate media isn’t actually “objective” and its story selection decisions are ideological

I'm not posting much about the US election because I'm choosing to believe, without much evidence, that you all will do the right thing and actually vote against the Rape and Murder party.
Q: Do you believe Haley Stevens is hurting the ticket?
El-Sayed: I have much respect to the congresswoman. We had a hard fought primary. That primary ended in August. I'm focused now on beating Mike Rogers. I hope that every Democrat, frankly, I hope that everybody who's worried about the state of our democracy, worried about the ability to afford gas and groceries, worried about ending illegal wars or ending tariff wars is with me in that fight.
Reminded of what Dem leadership did in #Montana. Or this might have been us.
Mallory McMorrow, quoted by The Washington Post
“Michigan could very well be the state that flips control of the Senate. …That’s what’s on the line. Nothing less. And Michiganders know it.”
“Cut the shit. Lock in. Knock doors. Get out the vote. That’s it.”

People say, what do you mean we have no press any more?
Alani Bankhead’s husband was the superintendent of the Air Force investigative unit in New Mexico that did not report violent domestic abusers to the FBI.
#mtnews #mtpol #mtsen
They failed to report the 2017 Sutherland Springs, TX shooter, a man with a violent past who had fractured his stepson’s skull.
Lyle Bankhead, Alani’s husband, was part of the team responsible for not reporting this man’s DV to the FBI.
A Federal court counted about a dozen times Lyle Bankhead and the unit he commanded could have reported this and didn’t. Why?
We can’t know. We do know that one of these criminals executed the deadliest mass shooting in Texas history at First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs.
I’ve read Lyle Bankhead’s depositions and also depositions from the unit he commanded. The day of this horrific crime, he and fellow unit members sent texts indicating they knew what they had done.
They worried about the consequences. Did they come forward? No. This was revealed in the recounting of their conversations. Court records show they were already scheming to avoid accountability.
After the U.S. government did nothing after an initial investigation, victims and their families had to bring a lawsuit. The judge awarded the victims and their families one of the largest settlements in government history, a quarter of a billion dollars. The judge put responsibility for the crime squarely on Lyle Bankhead’s unit’s malfeasance.
In 2017, when the history of the shooter was exposed and it was learned that the Air Force had failed to report, Mike Pence himself had vowed that the unit who allowed this would be held responsible. Look it up.
Trump’s admin held no one accountable.
Lyle Bankhead went on to command investigative units in the Pacific and then get a cushy job at the EPA.
Hey #mtpress, I don’t know what Alani Bankhead has told you, but I paid about $7 for the court documents from PACER and anyone in #mtnews could have done the same.
Her husband wasn’t ‘DOGED,’ he was explicitly protected from accountability and prosecution for a terrible crime thanks to Trump and his admin in 2017.
26 people were killed. 22 injured. And Trump simply promoted the officers, including Lyle Bankhead, who failed not just in this case but in approx 80 other DV cases that the Federal case revealed that this unit did not report to the FBI.
These were Trump’s kind of guys. He protected them.
Now, what do the Bankheads owe Trump?
Earlier this year, we reached out to nationwide U.S. Senate candidates to warn them of what we've learned about the @DNC in two years on the ground in #Montana as the Dem frontrunner.
We had discovered deep corruption in the national party, much of the progressive media, and we identified the players involved, including @jontester.
We're in a unique position to be on the other side of this now and look at the targeted hit against us in hindsight.
As we communicated to other candidates months ago, the effort to undermine democracy in #Montana is now replicated in races across the country, albeit through a variety of strategies.
Who is behind this effort? Why is there a national Dem cabal undermining populist candidates and elevating spoilers?
There’s not a legacy media outlet who will cover this in earnest. They are abandoning integrity to skate on hubris, laziness, corruption, and maintaining the status quo for anyone but their readers.
Who is working with data center billionaires and AIPAC to throw winnable Dem races around the country?
Do your research before you vote, but don’t count on #mtnews or even @NPR or @nytimes to inform your discretion. They are broken institutions who serve corrupt masters and special interests.
We have Dems in power who are just as bad as Trump, and they don’t care if Trump stays in power until 2045. They are getting theirs.
Now that the press has fallen, I do feel fear for our country. They’re abandoning integrity in favor of chasing likes and clicks.
So many that we reached out to, to warn, have been taken out or undermined. Without institutions protecting and spreading the light of truth, people will soon have no recourse against the billionaires, D or R.
Millions in outside PAC spending from both the GOP and the Dems promoted Bankhead and opposed me in the #Montana Democratic Senate primary.
Why did Bankhead not publicly reject that spending?
And when did discussions begin about having her withdraw in favor of Bodnar?
Discovery can be illuminating.

Antagonizing someone until they put up a boundary and then turning around and accusing them of being the abuser while you play a victim, is psychotic and deeply predatory behavior.

If the democratic party doesn't put every one of these fuckheads on trial and put the guilty ones in prison then the democratic party needs to be replaced too. No more fucking around. No more playing nice.
Did the chair of the @MTDems act contrary to the party's governing obligations while occupying a position of trust?
Did those actions violate enforceable rights or cause legally compensable financial harm? Can #Montana voters hold @MTDems responsible for allowing this to happen?

No one in #mtnews has made any attempt to contact me since I filed this with the @MTDems this morning, and this article is in error.
The article characterizes our complaint as a suspicion of a "nefarious plot" and assumes our displeasure with the election outcome.
All of my donors, from Montana and across the nation, deserve compensation for being misled by their own party.
