This was done via a method where the scammer invites you to a Minecraft server over Discord, and sends you a (malicious) package to install via Curseforge.
They will go as far to dig through your friends list to tell you people that are playing too, to draw you in.
Be careful!

The Blender CATS plugin is abandoned (again) and doesn't work in 5.1.0, but the only functionality I really use is "Apply Pose As Rest Pose." So here's a GPL Blender plugin that does only that, and works with Blender >=4.2 and with shapekeys: github.com/InconsolableCelli…
