Ghanaians don't fight for their rights, they fight for their share.

Mr President, since you see everything, can we start seeing some results? You see the videos of commuters stranded at bus stops, struggling to get to and from work. You see the galamsey videos and the destruction of our water bodies and forests. You see schools operating under trees and hospitals struggling without adequate beds. You see teachers complaining about unpaid salaries and workers demanding what they are owed. You see the frustration. You see the complaints. You see the daily struggles of ordinary Ghanaians. But seeing these problems is not the same as solving them. We didn't elect you as a President simply to watch our TikToks. We entrusted you with the power to address the very problems we Ghanaians are documenting and bringing to your attention. So, if you see everything, what is stopping us from seeing meaningful action? Mr President, we are watching too.
JM Meets Ghanaians in Moscow: โ€œI donโ€™t mind if people tell me Iโ€™m leading the country in the wrong direction. Criticism helps me to do better, and so all your TikToks, donโ€™t think I donโ€™t see them. I see them.โ€ โ€” President Mahama.

What about the galamseyers who post videos of themselves destroying our water resources and forest reserves, Mr. President @JDMahama? Sir, do you see such videos too? If so, what have you done about them? Why is there no progress against the country's single biggest existential threat? #StopGalamseyNow

Ghanaian police can forensically map phone records, remittances, and โ€œhigh-profile fundersโ€ of a TikToker in days, then put the CID boss on camera about it. But they wouldnโ€™t apply that same energy to the people financing galamsey thatโ€™s poisoning rivers and wrecking farmland, and to the networks turning Ghana into a transit corridor for narcotics. If phone data and money trails are good enough to chase โ€œGhana Jollof,โ€ theyโ€™re good enough for the people actually collapsing the country. This is nothing but theatre. #StopGalamseyNow

โ€œIf youโ€™re mining in water bodies and you see us coming, run. Donโ€™t bother showing us any documents, run.โ€ โ€” Col. S.K. Appiah, Director of Operations at NAIMOS, warns small-scale miners during a meeting in Aowin. #JoyNews

The people in the audience clapping those in the cs and quotes happy and praising him are the real problem. The president sees all those TikTok videos of galamsey operators destroying our water bodies and vegetation yet nothing is done to them. #StopGalamseyNow

You're happy clapping because your President is active on social media while the country is being destroyed right before our eyes in real life. What exactly are you guys celebrating?

There are no leaders in this country, only politicians whose primary goal seems to be destroying the nation and impoverishing its citizens while enriching themselves. #StopGalamseyNow
There's a new 'devil' in the galamsey menace and they are called 'pipi'. Erastus Asare Donkor reveals how young men armed with metal detectors are joining the illegal mining trade and wreaking havoc on forest reserves. #JoySMS. #JoySMS

Are we cursed as a country to have the kind of leaders we have or what? Look at the livelihood of the citizens while the politicians are flying around the world. Our politicians should be shameful of themselves, they are of no use to the nation. #StopGalamseyNow
Illegal mining has destroyed the only access road linking five communities in the Abesua Electoral Area of the Ashanti Region. The collapse of the River Kukubu bridge has disrupted schooling and trade, while residents allege threats from bodyguards of illegal miners.

The youth who are supposed to build Ghana canโ€™t even survive, let alone get opportunities or a chance. These old men are draining our minds, ideas, energy and potential that should be shaping the country's future. An entire generation is being wasted.

You pay taxes and utility bills, yet data, fuel and rent in remain exorbitant while salaries are meagre. Most employers local, Lebanese, Chinese employers exploit workers and don't even pay statutory. We have a government and institutions on paper, but most are dysfunctional.

Galamsey does not only destroy our lands and water bodies oo it also strips indigenes of their power and authority, leaving them with little or no say over what happens in their own communities.

Stop romanticising suffering created by politicians. Suffering is not a badge of patriotism, and enduring bad governance is not a national duty.

Politics be some dirty job o. You pick two cars before getting to work. Drivers on the routed increased fare by more than 20%. The price of most items you buy have gone up by at least 20%. But cos your favorite party is in power, you defend 9% salary increment to your detriment
