Nicole Kidman says that you can keep your childhood blankie until you're 85, "there's no medal for giving it up"
Nicole Kidman: "I always say to kids... your comfort is your comfort."
Nicole Kidman: "If you need to keep your blankie till you're 85, you keep your blankie. There's no medal for giving that up."
Nicole Kidman: "Who says you have to be this sort of perfect grownup? You're allowed to have these things."

Have you ever took a bunch of photos, get excited about said photo, post that photo, only to realize later that you got a much better composition with one of the other photos?

Ethan Hawke tells Sydney Sweeney his unique method for memorizing massive amounts of dialogue by treating it like a personal journal.
"What I do, and I started doing this a really long time ago, I handwrite everything like it's my journal. When I'm memorizing, I'm not memorizing from a typewritten final draft page. I don't want to have that in my brain, and I don't want irrelevant stage directions to be part of it."
"And then I do it again to see what I remember and what I don't remember. I try to write it from memory. And then I look, and I see what I got wrong. That process really helps me."
"Then I try to record it with no acting. I listen, when I if I think I have it, I take three pages or something and you try to learn that. And then I look at the script and see what I got wrong."
"Jon Voight taught me this when I was like 19, which is you unlace your shoe, and you have to do the speech lacing your shoe. If I'm trying to remember, then it's difficult to do. Until you can do that, until you can do other things, you don't really know it."

Receptionist said, “You’re one of the calmest patients I’ve helped.” Thanks. Flattered. Energy is one of my gifts but you have to learn how to govern it. I admire calm people and have worked hard to become one. Keep going. #ssgd

Mike Tirico told me his secret.
It wasn't talent.
It wasn't luck.
It was what he does on every flight home.
A few years ago, I met him at a restaurant bar in Indianapolis during the Big Ten tournament. One of the biggest voices in sports.
He didn't lead with his résumé. He introduced himself. He asked questions. He cared about every person in the room before anyone cared about him.
Eventually, I asked him what made him great.
He said after every game he calls, on the flight home, he pulls up the broadcast and watches it back.
Listens to his own voice. Hunts for the misses. The dead air. The calls he wishes he could have over.
Every game. Twenty-plus years in.
He wasn't born world-class. He worked his way there one flight at a time.
The best in any room are usually the ones still grading themselves the hardest.
World-class isn't a personality.
It's a habit.
