Day 99 of #RemindThem Kennedy Maina was shot on the stomach by William Ruto's killer militia. Kennedy was not a criminal. Kennedy was only asking to be heard. #RutoMustGo
Day 98 of #RemindThem This was in Embu County the 7th of July 2025. Young people were shot dead by William Ruto's killer militia for only asking to be heard. #RutoMustGo

It is. I bet NONE of these have theft cases in their files though.
𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 💃 Amy Klobuchar (MN), Gina Hinojosa (TX), Amy Acton (OH), Deb Haaland (NM), Keisha Lance Bottoms (GA), Katie Hobbs (AZ), Maura Healey (MA), Hannah Pingree (ME), Huldah Hiltsley (MN House), and Senator Zaynab Mohamed(Minnesota) These victories are more than American milestones—progress is contagious. Barriers broken abroad awaken courage at home. As Kenyan women prepare for our coming elections, may this wave remind us: the future belongs to those bold enough to step out & lead with wisdom and hope. Boundless pride for 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗣𝗵𝗼𝗲𝗯𝗲 𝗢𝗸𝗼𝘄𝗮’s historic ICJ election—Kenya is also shining for Africa and the world. #WomenInLeadership #SheLeads #KenyaToTheWorld #EmbraceEquity @SenateFloor

Ndiyo.
It feels very nice to see good people winning elections. Watu roho safi tu who actually care about ordinary citizens. Bad people have been winning too much bwana. What a night for the Democratic Party in the US midterms. Blue wave, sindio?

If you've ever walked through Nairobi CBD, you know just how overwhelming it can get. The bodas, car congestion, narrow walkways and the constant struggle to navigate through people and obstacles. Now imagine experiencing this as a person with a disability. Article 54 of our Constitution guarantees PWDs the right to reasonable access to all places and public transport. As we work towards a modern, organised pedestrian friendly Nairobi, we need accessible crossing points, wider and unobstructed pavements, and urban planning that considers PWD needs from the very beginning. #VIP

How they used the long contract to steal and conceal massive theft of billions from the Bomas project; ♦️ A secret contract. 390 pages. Parliament has demanded it for months. The Ministry of Defence refused to table it. Now @StandardKenya has it. ♦️ The Bomas convention complex was approved at Sh31.7bn in 2023. It's now Sh45.1bn. ♦️ That's a Sh13bn jump. No ministry has publicly explained it. ♦️ Look at the "Add Sums":
✅3% for design: Sh856.8m
✅1% for security: Sh285.6m
✅5% provisional sum: Sh1.42bn ♦️ Total: Sh2.57bn. None of it is tied to steel, concrete or labour. Procurement experts call it a corruption allowance. ♦️ Then there's a flat Sh4.97bn for import taxes. No actual customs assessments. ♦️ Add Sh3.56bn for the presidential area fit-out. And Sh18.1m for termite prevention. ♦️ The Auditor-General says direct procurement was approved on Feb 17, 2025, while a tender process was still ongoing. ♦️ Kenyans have a right to know how their money is spent @EACCKenya

Every time an African country elects a government that tries to keep more of its own resources, Western media discovers a "democracy deficit." Every time an Asian nation builds technology that competes with Western products, Western governments discover a "security threat." Every time a Latin American country charts an economic path outside the Washington Consensus, Western financial institutions discover a "stability risk." The pattern is precise and it has been precise for two centuries. The West is not afraid of authoritarian governments. It has funded dozens of them. The West is not afraid of economic mismanagement. It has imposed structural adjustment programs that produced exactly that. What produces the alarm, the specific, urgent, editorial-board-meeting alarm, is independence. A poor country making its own choices with its own resources for its own people without asking permission. That is the danger. That has always been the danger. Everything else is the vocabulary chosen to describe it in ways that don’t require honesty.

This was three days before the first protest and Ndii was provoking us on purpose . I know it looks lame but he lost 15K followers before we took it to the streets. He’s still extremely arrogant and at this point I think he’s doing it on purpose.
David Ndii @DavidNdii has lost 2,976 of his 1,121,309 followers on X (Twitter) in 2 hours after an exchange with Activist Hanifa Farsafi @Honeyfarsafi
