Retro Code TV

We don't own the future, and can't afford the past. The modern industry wants us renting digital licenses forever, while finance bros have turned our childhood memories into a stock market. Being a gamer right now is just exhausting. Digging into the sad state of gaming in the latest video: youtu.be/SDlKk-gl6sg?is=bFUn… #RetroGaming #PhysicalMedia #Gaming #PS5 #Nintendo

I'm officially boycotting Sony. Ending physical game discs by 2028 while actively deleting hundreds of "purchased" movies from digital libraries is completely unacceptable. If buying isn't owning, I'm out. I'll stick to the PS1 and PS2 games on my shelf that no corporate server can ever wipe. #BoycottSony #PhysicalMedia #GamePreservation #OwnYourGames #DontKillTheDisc #RetroGaming

🚨 I just dropped a new video breaking down why an all-digital future is going to cause a lot of trouble: 💰 Total price control (Say goodbye to physical discounts and sales) 🤝 No trading or selling (The used game market will be dead) 🗑️ Digital revocation (Games you "bought" can be taken away from your library at any time) 🎮 Why upgrade? (Honestly, this gives us zero reason to even own a PS6) We're losing ownership of the media we pay for.
