There is need for an urgent investigation into the selective ignorance currently flourishing within the Oburu–Salah faction of ODM. Remember Raila Odinga, in his quest for power, went against even his own father. The same man supported Daniel arap Moi, a leader who had previously squeezed his balls only to abandon him last minute for the Kibaki camp. In 2007, Ruto and Raila were allies. Yet shortly after the Nusu Mkate arrangement, Raila discarded him like a used teargas canister. The only reason Raila worked with Uhuru Kenyatta to the end was because he was actively supporting his presidential bid. When that dream refused to materialise, Baba did not linger in Azimio la Umoja for too long. He quickly parachuted into Kenya Kwanza. Now, for this tumbocratic faction to assume that simply because Baba passed on while working with Kenya Kwanza, he would have stayed there forever, is truly astonishing. It requires a level of historical amnesia so advanced it probably deserves its own medical classification. 😄
