According to Turkiye Gazetesi, more than 200 military personnel, along with significant quantities of Turkish electronic warfare systems and ground- and air-defense missiles, have been transferred to Saudi Arabia since the Mecca pact has been formed. Turkish defense systems are being used extensively to cut off the logistical links of Ansarallah and enhance the Saudi-backed Yemeni army's combat capabilities. Meanwhile, Turkish defense brands are also playing a major role in establishing the ground and air shield that will protect Saudi Arabia’s holy sites and strategically important facilities. The newspaper also reports that militants had been transferred from Iran, Iraq, and Lebanon for months, with the number increasing noticeably over the past two weeks. Some militants were also found to have been transported to Yemen from Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bahrain, Iraq, Lebanon, and several African countries. More than 400 former soldiers from the Syrian army, including generals and colonels, have reportedly been deployed to the Sanaa and Taiz fronts. Meanwhile, Pakistan reportedly sent four aircraft carrying weapons to Saudi Arabia last week, while around 8,000 Pakistani soldiers are said to be stationed in the Kingdom.

Again, it's weird who the national media and the substack journalists consider part of the Epstein class and who they don't.
Billionaire Reid Hoffman, who was one of Epstein's closest advisors and frequent guest on Epstein Island, is Talarico's #1 donor. Hoffman has donated $11.5 million to Lone Star Rising, a super PAC backing James Talarico.

At this stage of the war, targeting Turkish civilian assets to provoke Ankara to drop its mediating 'in-between' role and antagonize it to become a side is precisely the braindead move I'd expect from Russia.

Absolutely insane. But makes some sort of sense in the moral landscape of the “progressive” Left.
NEW: Haverford Professor Guangtian Ha has been arrested and charged with cyberstalking a Jewish colleague. Posing as a MAGA anon on X, he allegedly messaged another Haverford professor around 50 times between October 2025 and May 2026. In addition to posting vile antisemitic messages (see below), he allegedly posted his colleague’s “home address, infant child's name, a photograph of the family's mailbox, countless antisemitic slurs and threats, and reference to real-time observation of their home.” The target’s wife twice moved out of the home with their three children because they were so terrified. Ha is a member of Faculty for Justice in Palestine. He has called complaints about antisemitism on campus “Zionist witch hunts.” Originally from China, he is an associate professor of religion at Haverford who studies Islam in China. He holds a PhD in anthropology from Columbia. His dissertation is entitled, “Religion of the Father: Islam, Gender, and Politics of Ethnicity in Late Socialism.” He won the 2023 Clifford Geertz Prize in the Anthropology of Religion for his book, The Sound of Salvation: Voice, Gender, and the Sufi Mediascape in China. He is “charged with one count of cyberstalking pursuant to 18 U.S.C. § 2261A(2). The statutory maximum for cyberstalking is five years' imprisonment, three years of supervised release, a $250,000 fine, and a $100 special assessment.” Here are some of the messages he posted (brace yourself): “Jew, get the fuck out of my country” “Jew pig, get the fuck out of Lower Merion” “If jews are so special then they should also be placed in special camps and receive special treatments” “LM jews are going to have it big time, jew. Remember this. You scums have had it too easy. Goyim are taking America back, blood-guzzling demons.” “@[Victim 1] Eliminate the jewish cockroaches. Exterminate the jewish state. [Victim 1], you will have nowhere to go. Your family has no future in the US. Give it another 10 years, and you shall see a true holocaust.” “@[Victim 1] Fat jew, leave lower merion.” “@[Victim 1] Jew, watch your [Victim I's minor son's true name]. There shall be a sign.” After the victim took security precautions: “@[Victim 1] The goyim have woken up, jew. Run. Flee. Leave. Blurring your home on google map and installing a security camera next to your mailbox won't help.” “[Victim 1], the jewish state will stop existing, whether you like it or not, which is why as an Israeli zio jew you want to recreate america in 'iSrAeL's' image. This won't work. You and your family have no future here. Homeless dogs jews will once again become, if you do survive.” “That's right[Victim 1]The end of American jews is close. Let's start with the jews in Lower Merion. Watch out jewish nigga.” “[is] that blood, [Victim 1]? We know jews are blood-sucking demons. Only the libtard niggas [...] will protect you. Babylonians knew, the Romans knew, the Spaniards knew. American jews have been exposed. Fuck anti-Zionism. HH [i.e., “Heil Hitler”].” Haverford College has placed Ha on administrative leave and barred him from campus. His information has been wiped from the college’s website.

James Burnham – The Trotskyist Who Saw How It Would End. He was a Trotskyist first. In the 1930s he was one of the leading Marxist intellectuals in America – building the movement, debating Trotsky himself by letter, believing in the revolution. But he was also an American. A practical mind, trained to look at what actually happens rather than what the theory promises. So he understood what it was really about – and explained to us how it would work out. 1. In 1940 he broke with Trotsky over one question: what was the Soviet Union? Trotsky said a workers’ state, temporarily deformed. Burnham looked at it and saw something else: a new ruling class. The workers owned nothing. The capitalists were gone. Someone else was in charge – the people who ran the machine. Trotsky spent much of his last year writing against him. Burnham was right. 2. In 1941 he generalized it in The Managerial Revolution. The future would belong neither to the capitalists nor to the workers, but to the managers – the administrators, technicians and bureaucrats who control things without owning them. Capitalism would fall, he wrote – but not to the working class. To the managers. The capitalist, who risks his own fortune, would be replaced by the manager, who risks nothing, owns nothing and runs everything. That is the whole difference. The capitalist pays for his own mistakes. The manager’s mistakes are always paid by someone else – the shareholder, the taxpayer, the citizen. Burnham saw the same class rising in Soviet Russia, Nazi Germany and New Deal America. Different flags, the same new masters. And he said what it meant: the end of capitalism and of freedom – even if the façade stayed standing. 3. Orwell read it, argued with it – and borrowed from it. The three superstates of 1984 come from Burnham. So does its ruling class, which owns everything collectively and nothing personally. 4. In 1943 came The Machiavellians. Burnham studied the realists – Machiavelli and his modern heirs, like Pareto – and drew the lesson idealists never want to hear: every society is run by an elite. The only question is whether there is more than one. Freedom does not come from the absence of elites. It comes from their competition – rival powers that check each other, a free press, an opposition that can actually win. A single elite with no rival is tyranny, whatever it calls itself. 5. Now look at what the long march actually produced. Not the rule of the workers. The rule of the managers – the administrators of the ministries, the regulators in Brussels, the HR departments, the editorial boards. The façade of capitalism still stands – but who actually rules? Corporate boards spending other people’s money on other people’s ideologies. Officials in Brussels. Directors of foundations and NGOs. No voter elected them. The revolution succeeded. Only the managers won it. Gramsci designed the march. Burnham told us who would be waiting at the end of it. A class that owns nothing, answers to no voter, pays for none of its mistakes, and runs almost everything. 6. In 1964 he wrote Suicide of the West. Its verdict: liberalism – the modern progressive kind, not the classical one – is "the ideology of Western suicide." It lets a civilization accept its own retreat and feel good about it. Every loss becomes a sign of progress. Sixty years later, it reads like a description of Brussels. 7. The ex-Trotskyist ended up a founding editor of National Review, and in 1983 Ronald Reagan gave him the Presidential Medal of Freedom. From Trotsky’s comrade to Reagan’s medal. He knew the left from the inside, and he had the American instinct to ask the only question that matters: not what the theory promises, but who ends up in charge. In 1941 his answer was the managers. It still is – unless a rival elite rises. For the first time in decades, one has: builders, not administrators. Burnham would have recognized the moment. Not a revolution – a rotation.
Antonio Gramsci – The Most Dangerous Intellectual of the Twentieth Century. Not the most famous. Not the most read. The most dangerous and the most consequential – because he was the one who figured out why the revolution kept failing, and what to do instead. The man who invented the long march through the institutions. Everything that followed — the Frankfurt School, the Fabian Society’s operational model, the WEF formation pipeline, the captured university, the HR department enforcing approved speech — is downstream of what he wrote in a prison cell in Mussolini’s Italy, in code, between 1929 and 1935. 1. His central question: why hasn’t it happened? The working class was supposed to rise. The contradictions of capitalism were supposed to produce the revolution. They hadn’t – not in the West. Gramsci’s answer was precise and devastating: because the ruling class does not maintain power through force alone. It maintains power through cultural hegemony – the control of the ideas, values, and frameworks through which people understand the world. The worker who accepts that the existing order is simply how things are will not revolt, regardless of his material conditions. The revolution requires cultural change first. 2. The instrument was the long march through the institutions. Not the barricade. The school, the university, the media, the judiciary, the civil service, the cultural establishment – every institution through which a civilization transmits its values to the next generation. Capture these, fill them with people who share the counter-hegemonic project, and the cultural assumptions that maintain the existing order gradually dissolve. No barricades. No visible moment of rupture. Just the slow replacement of one cultural hegemony with another. 3. The educational capture was the masterpiece. Control the curriculum and you control the categories of thought available to the next generation. Not by telling them what to conclude – by shaping what questions they think to ask, what they consider obvious and what they consider unthinkable. The generation educated after the long march does not need to be told what to think. It thinks what it was formed to think – and experiences that thinking as its own. 4. He also theorized the organic intellectual – the person who translates the theoretical framework into stories and assumptions that circulate through the culture without appearing ideological. The film that makes the existing order seem absurd. The journalist who frames every story within the approved assumptions. Gramsci understood that culture is politics by other means – and that the side that controls the culture wins, regardless of who wins the elections. 5. This is not a conspiracy theory. It is a published, documented, widely taught strategy that the left implemented consciously across the entire Western world. The 1968 generation put it into practice in the universities. They became the professors, the journalists, the civil servants, the judges, the HR directors of the decades that followed. The march took fifty years. It worked. 6. Mussolini’s prosecutor said at his trial: "We must stop this brain from functioning for twenty years." The brain did not stop. It produced thirty-three notebooks – smuggled out, published, and became the most widely read Marxist text in the Western academy after Marx himself. Gramsci died in 1937, six days after his release, at forty-six. He did not see the march he theorized. He did not need to. 7. Every captured institution, every transformed curriculum, every HR department enforcing approved speech, every content moderation policy suppressing the unauthorized voice – all running the program Antonio Gramsci designed in a prison cell, by a brain that was supposed to have been stopped. It wasn’t. And neither was the march. Until now – because the distribution monopoly that made its outcomes enforceable is cracking. The counter-march has begun. It just doesn’t have a name yet.

Keep fighting the good fights @DouglasOllivant
First and foremost, I want to thank everyone who has supported my campaign for U.S. House of Representatives since I first began exploring this race in September 2025. Over that time, I have made friends I could never imagine making, listening to your concerns, and visiting just about every corner of Virginia's 7th District. Last week, I was diagnosed with blood cancer. The specific name for it is Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) my medical team has laid out the optimal treatment plan. I want to be exceptionally clear: I am fighting to beat this cancer, and I am fighting to beat Eugene Vindman in November. That is my promise to you. As a soldier, my life could have been sacrificed on the altar of freedom at any time. For myself personally, the stakes are quite high. My campaign staff and volunteers assure me that no one would blame me if I focused on my recovery. I am committed to giving Virginia's 7th District a clear choice between the past and the future. Virginians deserve leadership who listens, who actually likes their constituents, and is willing to work across the aisle for commonsense values. The leadership we say we want but rarely vote for, whether it is for farmers, parents, teachers, law enforcement, government workers or veterans. The problems we face are bigger than political parties, and while we may disagree on how we tackle a problem, we should never disagree on our love for the things that matter -- jobs we don't hate, roads that aren't terrible, and providing health care and benefits and educations worthy of the name. The next few weeks for me personally are by no means certain. The next few weeks of this campaign are most definitely certain. Our values, our principles, and the message we have to send to Washington is certain. To be clear, this particular type of AML is extremely treatable. Our doctors are positive. For that, Sabrina and I are incredibly thankful for your prayers and positive energy moving forward. Over the next few weeks, I want to send a message that leadership matters and that the values which made America great can make her great again. There is no problem created by human beings that cannot be fixed by human beings. All of us, stronger together. That's my message. I am going to need your help to send that message. For months, I have said that Virginia's 7th District needs leadership that listens. From the bottom of my heart, I have loved every second getting to know this district. Virginia's 7th District has a choice in November. Let's make our answer heard loud and clear. Thank you again for your tremendous support and remember -- I will keep fighting for you. -Doug 🇺🇸

Don’t believe the polls. There will be no blue wave. Once again, fake polling, designed, not to inform but to persuade & suppress turnout, are misleading voters. I know what I’m talking about. As a twice elected Dem governor and 3 time elected Dem Congressman, I never lost an election. Trust the people. They won’t be fooled. Collins wins in Maine, Texas & Kansas stay Republican, & El-Sayed loses in Michigan.

The joint statement says “the committee also agreed to ensure the rapid deployment of those forces and capabilities in Saudi Arabia in accordance with approved arrangements and the national laws of the three countries.” The key phrase here is “in accordance with the national laws of the three countries.” The agreement has not yet been ratified by the turkish parliament and turkish law requires parliamentary authorization to deploy troops abroad. This suggests that (at least for now) Turkey’s contribution is more likely to involve military capabilitie other than deployment of ground troops.

Damning critique with more than a bit of truth to it...pathologies of democracy that must be guarded against, not arguments against a republic or per se
Power selects for a specific personality type, and it is not yours. F.A. Hayek spelled this out in 1944. In a centrally planned system, the people who rise are not the most competent or the most honest. They are the most willing to exercise force against strangers, the most comfortable with contradiction, and the most skilled at coalition-building through favors rather than merit. Government filters for the bad ones from the start. The mechanism is straightforward. Political power means controlling resources you did not earn. Capturing that control requires outcompeting rivals who have no ethical constraints. A principled candidate refuses to promise contradictory things to different voter blocs. An unprincipled one does it without blinking. The unprincipled one wins. Repeat this selection pressure across hundreds of electoral cycles and you get the U.S. Congress in 2026: a body where the average member has held office for over a decade, raised millions from interested parties, and delivered almost nothing measurable to the people who voted for them. Bureaucracy compounds the problem. Once entrenched, state agencies attract people who want authority without accountability. You cannot fire most of them. The FDA, the TSA, the Federal Reserve all function this way, staffed by individuals whose career advancement depends on expanding the agency's reach, never on serving you efficiently.

Over the past few days I have heard a number of very sober, well-reasoned commentators on the political right talking about the midterms and related polling. They uniformly speak about the House already being a lost cause for the GOP, and they focus on whether the GOP can hold the Senate. Things do not need to be this way. Trump won in 2024 by large margins. The only reason that cannot be repeated this fall is if YOU—the average Trump voter—decides to let it happen. I know, I know, I know. Trump has not made all of your hopes and dreams come true in two years’ time. You think he has done nothing, even though he has had profound victory after profound victory in areas like immigration and downsizing the federal government. You have your pet issue that has not been satisfied to the extent you demand, so you want to “Stay home and send them a message.” Yes the GOP sucks. It’s a heinous mess of self-interest and failed status quo maintenance. But the only thing worse is the Democrat Party. We are running against LITERAL COMMUNISTS who want to abolish the Senate, pack the Supreme Court, add two new deep blue states, open the borders to unlimited immigration and succumb to creeping Sharia and jihad in order to literally destroy the nation. (Plus, they will spend the next two years impeaching Trump and everyone in his orbit, fully defeating what you voted for in 2024.) So you have two choices. It’s a binary choice, there is no third option: 1. Vote for doing everything we can to pursue MAGA even if that’s not perfect. 2. Stay home and become ruled by literal Communists who want you dead. Choose. We can still win this fall, we just need the will to do it.

🇺🇸 While Virginia families fight grocery prices and gas bills, Eugene Vindman was in Kyiv. Last week he was in Ukraine giving interviews about how Democrats can pressure Washington if they take Congress. That’s his priority. Not yours. His record at home matches the trip: ❌ First vote in Congress: NO on the Laken Riley Act. ❌ NO on ending the tax on tips and overtime. ❌ NO on proof of citizenship to register to vote. ❌ NO on American energy that keeps prices down here. He doesn’t put Virginians first. He doesn’t put America first. I’m Doug Ollivant. Combat veteran. Father of seven. Congress should start with VA-07: secure borders, citizen-only elections, lower costs, American energy. 🗳️ Early voting is open. Election Day is November 3. 🇺🇸 👉Find your polling place and vote: dougforvirginia.com/vote
