Hello everyone. This is an unusual thing to see me posting, but I need your help. Past several months has been full of complications, family has made my life a lot harder than it needs to be. One of my relatives borrowed my car and totaled it being irresponsible, which I mentioned before. I moved back home to recover mentally and financially after leaving a place I could no longer stay in, and I was still paying that rent while trying to get back on my feet. My parents have been putting unrealistic financial expectations on me and refusing to believe that drawing for you all is a sustainable way to live. They’ve been charging me rent even after saying they don’t need the money and that it’s just to keep me a “responsible adult.” It’s hard to focus on art and finish commissions and Patreon work on time when I’m constantly being pulled into things I shouldn’t have to handle, including covering responsibilities for a relative who’s always intoxicated. I want an escape from that. I want to get out of this unsupportive environment so I can draw more for you, and at a more reliable pace. I’m going to fully open commissions earlier than usual starting next week. I’ll also be lowering my prices in hopes of getting more support during this stretch so I can stabilize and keep making the work you enjoy. I hope you all understand.
