This, folks, is why I slug down so much coffee. ☕️☕️☕️
People who drank more coffee had less body fat, less visceral fat, and more lean mass than less-frequent or non-drinkers.
The biggest benefit was seen at 5 or more cups per day.
And for men, every extra cup per day was associated with a ~10 ng/dL higher total testosterone. Higher coffee intake was also associated with better glucose and insulin regulation in men.
This was an observational study, but mechanistic and experimental evidence actually supports coffee's benefits on metabolic and hormonal health. I'm willing to believe there's a real link here rather than draw a conclusion such as "coffee drinkers live healthier lives in general."
You can grow top-line and bottom-line at the same time. It's possible.
In this episode of Signal & Noise, Brett House and I sit down with Bryan Leach, Founder, CEO, President & Chairman of @ibotta, for a wide-ranging conversation about entrepreneurship, commerce media, measurement, AI, and why he chose Denver as the place to build.

PRO TIP: You can often tell how the work environment at a company is based on how frequently people post on social and what they post.
If a place is miserable, people rarely post and when they do, it’s usually recycled corporate jargon like “Best Workplace” awards. No one wants the Eye of Sauron to fall on them.
At places that are happy, people post fun, interesting, and thought-provoking stuff with abandon because they like their work and feel free to express themselves without fear of retribution.
Just saying…
Do people still use creative briefs?
Generative AI has made it radically easier—and cheaper—to create advertising. But if every brand can suddenly produce infinite variations using the same models, what actually creates competitive advantage?
In this episode of Signal & Noise, Brett House and I sit down with Alex Collmer, Founder & Executive Chairman of Vidmob, to explore why the next battleground in advertising may be the intelligence that determines what to create, why it should work, and what brands learn from every ad they put into market.

Unpopular opinion: I like the new Sydney Sweeney ad.
In fact, I think most (straight) guys do. Prove me wrong.
It’s an ad for a sports prediction app. It’s hard to argue they didn’t nail it for their target demographic.

One of the biggest mistakes in the current AI conversation is assuming that more content = better advertising. News flash: it doesn’t.
Our latest episode of Signal & Noise just dropped, and it’s a great conversation with Alex Collmer, Founder & Executive Chairman of Vidmob.
Alex makes a compelling case that as AI automates production, creative intelligence actually becomes more important - not less.

Does in-store impact online sales, and how does online activity impact in-store sales? What does this have to do with #RetailMedia?
Jeffrey Cohen from Skai - only on Signal & Noise!
🎙️ The Operating System for Commerce Media: Jeffrey Cohen on Amazon Ads' Rise, Retail Media's Measurement Reckoning, and the Shift from Dashboards to Agents
signalandnoise.ai/post/the-o…
Retail media has spent years promising marketers something the rest of advertising struggled to deliver: a direct connection between media exposure and transactions.
But attributed sales aren’t necessarily incremental sales. In the latest episode of Signal & Noise, we sit down with Jeffrey Cohen, Chief Business Development Officer at Skai, and formerly Principal Evangelist at Amazon Ads, to talk about where commerce media goes from here.
We get into Amazon Ads’ meteoric rise, retail media’s measurement reckoning, the fragmentation across hundreds of networks—and the shift from dashboards and manual optimization toward agents that can actually analyze data, recommend actions and execute workflows.
