Authors should write to tell a story. After that, it's in the readers hands.

Should authors write to please their readers or challenge their thinking?

When creating your own universe, remember that the world we live in is your greatest inspiration. Both its beauty and its horrors. The purpose of fiction isn't always to escape reality. I have a book to write and always have to remind myself of this.

That's the only answer. VS debates are fun, but the only answer will ever be "Depends on who the writer wants to win." Hell, Squirrel Girl beat Thanos, Galactus and Doctor Doom.

"The winner is whoever the writers wants to win" mfs when I ask them who wins between regular Spider-Man (No special buffs allowed) and Full power Darksied with the Anti Life Equation (apparently its impossible to figure it out)

Alessa Gillespie, Jennifer Check, Kayako Saeki, Regan Mac Neil, Jack Baker, Sadako Yamamura, any Animatronic in FNAF. Where's the protesting there?

A vocal group of Fortnite players are calling for a boycott of Epic's battle royale game after a skin of Obsession’s Nikki Freeman, played by Inde Navarrette, sparked backlash among fans. bit.ly/47PCHS5

Criticism of the Nikki Fortnite skin exists over its themes, with limited boycott calls from small accounts. Actress Inde Navarrette promoted it in Epic's official video. x.com/Fortnite/statu… ign.com/articles/fortn…

There is an absolute shift happening and it's not in favor of PC. PC gaming sucks and at least more are finally admitting it publicly.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
This was taken out of context of his rant on Marvel Tokon’s bad PC launch, which he uninstalled on stream, 2 days in ign.com/articles/marve… reddit.com/r/MarvelTokon/… pushsquare.com/news/2026/08/i…

Did you know the Aglaophotis glitch in the original Silent Hill skips the Cybil boss fight? But also did you know it generally saves speed runners approximately 25 seconds?
